This week I'm going to talk about the misconception that creating digital art is "all about the editing". "Editing" means something different to everyone. But photography isn't editing. Photography CAN include editing but that isn't a requirement. Photography is art. Art is subjective. When I shoot, I take each shot as it's own blank canvas and I aim to keep my photos as true to life as possible, to document that specific moment. So I choose locations and colors that I'm pulled to, in a place where lighting makes the most sense for that image. Don't get me wrong, I spend HOURS editing, in fact this photo WAS edited, but this is what I consider a light, true to life edit.
