NEW Video ✨

Before we continue with our home apartment refresh part 2, I'd like to share this unforgettable and magical moment we had on our first Japanese festival during the Yodogawa Fireworks Festival (one of the most famous festivals in Japan) 🥹

It was our first time so we didn't know what to expect! Didn't know what to bring, what to wear, what to do in general.. 😅

But it was a very fun experience as we get to enjoy eating all the delicious festive food at the massive park, the unique fireworks display (although we didn't get to see the entire fireworks in its full glory because we were miles away from the main viewing area 🥲), AND everything was just giving major Anime vibes 🥹 ✨

Hello! ✨

I hope everyone is well and safe! Last friday was the non-stop-most-heavy rain we experienced since arriving here in Japan! Sadly there were some water leaks in our apartment, wallpapers were bubbling, the carpet was soaked because the floors were a bit flooded 😥 But thankfully there are no major issues and we are all safe 😌

Anyway, in my recent video, I shared some life updates, like flipping over our apartment and transforming it into a whole new space without spending anything! (screenshots below) I hope you can take some time to watch and let me know what you think, did we make the space better or worse? 😬

FUN Things to do in Tokyo and our 👏🏻 cheap Airbnb 👏🏻

Super fun Tokyo trip! Played retro arcades at Odaiba, night strolling at Shinjuku's "p**s alley", had izakaya at Shibuya yokocho, beautiful cherry blossom viewing at Nakameguro, ate the best corn dog at Shin-Okubo, luxurious fashion streets at Ginza and Omotesando, yummy desserts at Takesh*ta Street Harajuku, got mesmerized by Ramen Museum in Shin-Yokohama, witnessed the Moving Gundam in full version and much much more! ⭐️

This little nook is where I spent most of my time every single day (2nd is the kitchen). It’s messy, wires are everywhere, and not always clean, but I love it. It’s where I get to express my creativity and pour my ideas into one single video.

Back then, I could still remember when me and my husband would spend our weekends or after work painting a room, installing furniture, drilling holes, driving back and forth to the hardware store, and all that fun stuff 😅 (though I know it isn’t what he wants to do 😬). That was my definition of being creative and productive.

Fast forward to today where we spend most of our days just sitting at our desks doing our thing, and that’s okay. You don’t have to be in one certain place doing one certain thing or everywhere doing everything. You can go out or stay at home, try something new, take chances, embrace opportunities, and accept downfalls and failures. Life is not always happy, exciting, or being productive all the time, it’s about having peace with what you do 🕊️

PS: getting bored with the current layout of the house and thinking of moving the desk somewhere else 😬

Hi, it’s me.. 😅

Some of you may notice that I changed the YT channel to my name “shasha”. When I first started my YT channel way back 2018, the sole purpose of it was to share my creative journey by making over and designing spaces! Hence the channel “Creative Pinay”. I loved doing it and will always be one of my greatest passion.

As years passed and as we transitioned into this new journey of our lives, I want this platform to share not just the “creative” side of me but also our simple ordinary days, fun adventures, or any small/big milestones. I hope to provide a safe and comforting space for everyone whether it be for inspiration, motivation, healing, a little dose of laughter 😅, or just anything that anyone can relate to in their day-to-day lives ☺️

I still love designing spaces for others but for now, I want to focus more on being a housewife and a.. content creator 😌 I hope you’ll stick around as I still have loads of exciting content to share with you guys 🫶🏻 Thank you for reading up to this point and have a blessed day!
