Instagram kicked off 2025 with some BIG updates and we expect to see more. Here’s a list of what we know so far:

📏 The posts are getting taller! Instagram rolled out rectangles. New size for posts is 1080x1350.

⏰ The reels are getting longer! Short form video isn’t going anywhere BUT we now have the option to share a reel up to 3 minutes long.

📲 Instagram is rolling out an editing app for editing videos. Will it be the new CapCut?

🤝 Adam Mosseri announced a new feature coming to the reels tab. With engagements decreasing, Instagram wants to put the social back in social media. Mosseri said you’ll be able to see popular reels that your friends have liked and you’ll be able to strike up a conversation about your common interests.

One thing is always true about the digital world .. it’s always changing, always updating, always evolving.

Today's a bittersweet day with the start of the most vibrant time of the year for New Orleans coming on the heels of such devastation and loss.

Our hearts are with all family, friends, and loved ones of those lost and injured, those who were witness to such tragedy, and anyone whose heart is heavy right now.

We're choosing to see today as not just the beginning of Carnival season but also a chance to renew our perspective. Life is short, and every minute matters. Take the time you need to grieve, reflect, and heal. Reach out to someone who might be struggling. Check on your people and those who might not have their own people.

And then, when you're ready, we hope you'll join us in choosing to be active participants in letting better times roll. Better times start with us as individuals, caring for and being there for each other no matter what life throws at us. May the city of New Orleans see nothing but joy and love, and may all our locals and tourists stay safe and healthy this Carnival season.

So if you can, take a break, take a deep breath, and grab a slice of king cake.

We had so much fun at the Town & Country Classic with our Windsor Court partners. The New Orleans Polo Club hosted a great match and the Southern Hotel took the win 🏆 Can’t wait for the next one!

As Milton closes in on Florida, our clients in the Tampa area are heavy on our minds.

While they are safely evacuated, we know too well the fear and anxiety of what's to come. As we go about our normal work day, we will be thinking of all in the path of this devastating hurricane and the inevitable long road ahead. We'll be here for you however we can.
