365 DAYS! 🎉

365 days ago, I had no idea what this business was going to bring.

Entrepreneurship can be lonely. I’ve learned that is can be scary and challenging. It can be all consuming and difficult to balance.

Entrepreneurship is rewarding. I’ve learned that it is full of growth and full of opportunity. It can open many doors and introduce you to so many incredible people and stories.

Entrepreneurship is different for everyone, but the same in many ways. I’ve learned this year that it’s about staying the course when things get hard, it’s about being your biggest cheerleader, surrounding yourself with people who believe in you and who allow you to grow, and it’s about staying consistent everyday.

From freelancing, to launching my business in an airport this time last year, I am so happy to share some of our milestones:

✅ servicing clients in 4 provinces
✅ servicing clients in 12+ industries
✅ active member of 3 local networking groups
✅ active board member for 1 incredible non for profit
✅ team of 4 and growing 🙌

Let’s talk imposter syndrome!

If you know me, you know this term is a common part of my vocabulary. Feeling it, living it and striving to overcome it everyday.

Imposter syndrome is a common experience, especially among business owners and high achievers, where one feels like they are a not equipped or even fraudulent in their pursuit toward success.

I used to think I was alone in this self-doubt, anxiety and lack of confidence in business.

Hey… 👋 It turns out, these feelings are completely normal and some of the most successful people in all kinds of industries face it every day.

Acknowledging your achievements, learning to trust your work and remembering that “failing forward” is a real thing helped me turn imposter syndrome into a productive, driving force for success.

Getting comfortable being uncomfortable has been my biggest asset this year, both personally and professionally.

If you’re thinking of trying something new, I encourage you today and everyday to tell the little voice in your head that YOU CAN.

Because… YOU CAN… if you BELIEVE YOU CAN.

Still practicing this one.. but as they say… practice makes perfect! ✨✨✨
