Eniola Ajoa is full of thanks as her movie "Ajakaju, Beast of two worlds" grossed over N100,000,000 in 5 days of it premiere. Recall that, Eniola Ajao was caught in fear around the funds spent on her movie after she gave an award to a popular cross-dresser in Lagos. She was afraid as threats came from different quarters to boycutt that movies. But thankfully, she seems to be smiling to the bank as soon as possible.

Congratulations Eniola. This is a great feat.

Ruth Kadiri dropped this movie not too long ago. There has been positive reviews around this movie and I want to get some review here incase you have seen it. Remember, many viewers don't seem to like the fact that Ruth concentrated on producing movies for YouTube viewers purposely. Many people relates the gesture of producing for YouTube as producing a poorly organized movie, arguing that YouTube videos are of less quality. However, Ruth has mastered the act of producing for YouTube and other major cinema and boxes.

Eniola Ajao's Ajakaju grossed N16M in 24hours. This is a great feet. Nigerians have shown big love to the producer of "Ajakaju, Beast of two worlds". Remember, earlier in the week, this movies premiere became controversial as a result of the award given to a popular cross dresser, Bobrisky as the best dressed female at the premiere, this raised a serious concern among females in the industry and even Nigerian at large. This brought about doubt around the movie doing well at the cinema and box office generally, however, the first day result have proven a huge success. I hope the movies, Ajakaju will sustain the huge sales for the times it will be at the cinemas. Congratulations to Eniola Ajao.

Funke Akindele has broken the biggest record of nollywood history. Her newest movie, "A tribe called Judah" has broken the record projected for 2025 in the first week of 2024. The movie pundits has said that they expect a Nigerian movie to gross the 1 billion Naira target by the end of 2025. However, A tribe called Judah has done it. Remember, Funke Akindele has the record of the highest Nigeria film credited to her movie "batle on the buka street" which grossed N668M in the box office. "Nneka The Pretty Serpent"

I dont know if anyone here remembers this movie "Nneka the pretty servpent" reease in the year 1994. This movie was released almost immediately after "The Rattle snake" a.k.a "Ahanna". Remember the Era of nollywood we are in now started in the early 90s with movies done in igbo or yourba movies. Nneka was trail blazzer being the first of its kind, showing a demon possessed character. It is regarded as the Nollywood movie that started the trend of storylines involving demon-possessed subjects who are cleansed by pastors. The movie was produced by Okechukwu Ogunjiofor, and directed by Zeb Ejiro in 1994. Also starred Ndidi Obi as the lead character, Nneka, a mermaid disguised as human whose mission on earth was to go after married men. "Nneka The Pretty Serpent" also starred actors like Eucharia Anunobi, Ngozi Ezeonu, Rita Nzelu, late Sam Loco, Kanayo O.Kanayo, late James Iroha, Claude Eke and Nelly Uchendu and many more. Even people that didn't understand igbo language saw and enjoyed the entire movie. It was really a big deal in those.
