🏅🏅🏅UPDATE: Mary Lou continues to recover at home, pulling through like the true champ she is!

"Mom is HOME & in recovery mode," her daughter McKenna Kelley shared in an Oct. 23 Instagram post. "We still have a long road ahead of us, but baby steps..."
We extend heartfelt wishes to 1984 Olympic gold medalist, Mary Lou Retton, as she battles a rare form of pneumonia.

‼️ As she fights this life-threatening illness, please join us in keeping Mary Lou and her loved ones in your hearts and thoughts. Let's show Mary Lou (and the world) that we stand with her during this challenging time by sending our 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 prayers and positive vibes.

Mary Lou Retton, 55, has a rare form of pneumonia and is uninsured, said her daughter, who is raising funds for her. She won five Olympic medals in 1984.

Today, we join baseball fans across the nation in mourning the loss of a true American sports icon, Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson. With a heavy heart, we bid farewell to the "Human Vacuum Cleaner", a legend who left an indelible mark on the game.

Robinson wasn't just a baseball hero; he embodied American values like resilience and teamwork. Today, we salute this MLB superstar! 🙏

Major League Baseball mourns the loss of Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson.

Robinson was an 18-time All-Star, 16-time Gold Glove Award winner, and helped lead the Baltimore Orioles to two World Series Championships. He was the 1964 AL MVP and the 1970 World Series MVP.
