We like buying guns and gear as much as the next guy, but we would like to remind everyone to keep a few things in mind. Is your kit well rounded? Do you have the necessary items of survival in case of a disaster. I.e. food, water, shelter, medical, etc. Is your fitness to a point where you can comfortably move with said equipment over many miles?

It is easy to fall for the marketing hype surrounding a new product. Try to look at the situation objectively and determine if that item will impact your preparedness level in a positive way.

Plus, it isn't cool to go into debt for this stuff.

After using the Samsung Galaxy Tag 2 during a recent trip, I believe it to be a strong competitor to the Apple Air Tag for non iPhone users. It is great to have the piece of mind that your sensitive items made it on board the aircraft. There is also the potential that it could alert you to the location of your lost luggage and avoid the airline location process. For the price I will be getting more to put in all my checked luggage.

We talk about preparedness a lot. It is one thing to say you are prepared, but it is another to see how your preparations work after a disaster. Even a small one like a pesky pine tree falling on your shed, deck, and roof during a wind storm. Luckily, there was not a ton of damage. It did, however, give me an opportunity to use my recently purchased chainsaw to clear the tree, basically paying for itself already.

Additionally, I lost power for just over 24 hours, which gave me the opportunity to bust out the camp stove, head lamp, and throw some logs into the fireplace. Use these minor disasters to gauge where your overall preparedness level is.

Short rifles want to identify as SPRs too.

In all reality, this 12.3 inch rifle does not produce the same results as my purpose build 16 inch does, but it still makes short work of targets 400 yards and in.
