🌶️ Spicy Thursday! 🌶️

The IRONY is that this pressure test is beautifully demonstrating the inefficiencies that *actually* need to be fixed and will save resources. The other reality is that we could’ve done a similar pressure test in the past (in a much better way) and MEANINGFULLY fixed this s**t. The “E” in DOGE is questionable right now.

Multiple realities can be true. We can (and have wanted) reform to these gigantic and archaic systems, AND this clearly won’t address it.

Clinical psych doctoral students complete a national match process, similar to medical residents. Similarly still, you HAVE to complete this to graduate and become licensed. The lack of communication between agencies here will have devastating consequences, and not just for these BoP sites. This will inherently make the next phase much more competitive, leaving more students unmatched and stuck in limbo for another year. Additionally, the sites themselves will suffer, as many benefit from (or, frankly, depend on) the underpaid labor.
