We all have bad habits that we're having a hard time letting go. It takes a lot of determination and discipline to successfully replace these habits with good ones.
Follow these three tips to do it:
1. Recognize your bad habits. It's true, we can never address something if we do not recognize its existence. Being honest with yourself and doing a self-check to get a list of the habits that's hindering you from reaching your goal makes the first step to changing yourself.
2. Find the cues and triggers of the habit. Be self-aware of when these habits take place and start refocusing your energy to something else to eliminate the triggers.
3. Optimize your environment. It's good to have an accountability buddy or have your workstation in a place where you could focus. Do whatever it takes to make this transition easy for you.

If there is something that you do not understand, don’t hesitate to ask. Keep all lines of communication open and always take the initiative to communicate with your client for clarification.
