As mentioned in my previous post, I got to drive this fantastic Camel Trophy 110. Driving a CT vehicle was on my bucket list and as a Land Rover nut, I was over the moon!

This 110 belongs to Phil () who kindly gave me the opportunity to drive my first CT vehicle💛

As you can see, I’m grinning the entire time! I even found an appropriate cap to wear for the occasion. Thank you again Phil for making my day😁

This time two years ago, I opened a new sketchbook and reignited my passion for drawing. Starting out with a doodle of my dream car. A year later and I finally found the one! A 200Tdi Discovery coincidentally also a three door.

When the memory popped up on my phone today, it inspired me to dig out the sketchbook and start doodling again. Should my first sketch be of Grant? I think that’s only fitting!

I will be posting an update on project Grant in the near future! For now have a picture of the sketch from 2020, one of the first pictures I took of Grant in 2021 before the re-build and a shot of his restoration journey so far in 2022💚

350 miles away from home, but Gordon got us there no trouble!

This was taken Monday night, 7 hours and a few hundred miles away from home. One of few stops to let the clerk of works stretch his legs and most importantly check everything over 🔧

Gordon is earning his stripes this week and so far, so good!

I’ve spotted quite a few Land Rovers out today enjoying the sunshine. Unfortunately not Gordon, he has been misbehaving and throwing spanners in the works🤦🏻‍♀️

Reached an absolute milestone today with Gordon. Engine all back together and running spot on!

Done all the major preventative maintenance - timing belt, valve clearances, new steering pump hoses, new water pump, new auxiliary belts, new lift pump, new crankshaft damper, new radiator and hoses, flushed out the intercooler, fluids and filters.

One step closer 💚
