After 8 days, I was finally reunited with my sister. Eight nights of restless worry and eight days filled with anxiety. I have so much to share, but I reside in Bangladesh, where speaking out about my experience could risk my safety. I've already endured numerous challenges during this time, and I'm uncertain about what the future holds. I pray that God keeps me safe in my beloved Bangladesh. একটি হারানো বিজ্ঞপ্তি:

আমার বোন সুরাইয়া আফরিন সামিয়া গত ৯ সেপ্টেম্বর জুরাইন রেলগেইট এলাকা থেকে হারিয়ে গেছে।সংগৃহীত ভিডিও ফুটেজগুলি তে শেষবারের মতো তাকে জুরাইন রেলগেইটেই দেখা যায়।তার পরনে ছিল সাদা-কালো স্ট্রাইপ শার্ট, কালো পাজামা, কালো ওড়না। সে তার বয়সী বাকি বাচ্চাদের মতো নয়। বয়স ১৫ হলেও আদতে সে একটি শিশু। তার কাছে কোনো ফোন বা যোগাযোগ করার আর কোনো মাধ্যম নেই। মা'কে ছাড়া আজ এতগুলো দিন সে বাসার বাইরে রয়েছে।জন্মের পর থেকে একটা দিনও সে মা'কে ছাড়া থাকেনি।তাকে না পেয়ে তার মা শয্যাশায়ী। তার বাড়ির প্রতিটি মানুষ তাকে হন্যে হয়ে খুঁজছে।পুলিশ এবং র‍্যাব তথাপি আইন শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী বাহিনীকে অবগত করা হয়েছে।আপনাদের সকলের কাছে দু'আ কামনা করছি সামিয়া যেন তার মায়ের কোলে ফিরে আসতে পারে।
আপনজনদের হারানোর ব্যথা যে কেমন তা যেন আল্লাহ কাউকে কখনো বুঝতে না দেন। আমার বোনটাকে আজকে এতোগুলো দিন হলো খুঁজে পাচ্ছিনা। আমার মন বলছে সে ভালো নেই।কেউ যদি কোনো খারাপ উদ্দেশ্যে তাকে নিয়ে থাকেন দয়া করে মেয়েটাকে ছেড়ে দেন। ও আপনার ঠিকানা মনে রাখতে পারবে না। মেয়েটি কাউকে এসে যে আপনাদের ঠিকানা বলবে ওই টুকু বুদ্ধিও ওর নেই।
কেউ যদি আমার বোনকে দেখে থাকেন দয়া করে তথ্য দিয়ে আমাদের সাহায্য করেন। তাঁকে শুধু বলেন তার মায়ের পুরনো নাম্বারটা খোলা হয়েছে তার মা তার ফোনের আশায় বসে আছে।

এতো কষ্টের একটা দেশ, সেই দেশ থেকে একটা মানুষ এভাবে নাই হয়ে যাবে? আমি বিশ্বাস করি আমার দেশের মানুষ এতো খারাপ না।
সে যেখানেই আছে আমি যেন তাকে খুঁজে পাই।আমি ভেঙে পড়বোনা,আমাকে ভেঙে পড়তে দিয়েন না। আমি শেষ পর্যন্ত চেষ্টা করে যাবো ইন শা আল্লাহ.

My 15-year-old sister, Suraiya Afrin Samia, has been missing since September 9th. She was wearing black and white stripe shirt, black pant and a black Orna. She's a vulnerable young girl who doesn't know her way around and was last seen near Bikrampur Plaza, Jurain Railgate. Suraiya never goes anywhere alone; either my mom or I are always with her. She doesn't have any money or a phone, and her sense of direction is not as sharp as ours.
