Our FINAL Story Time! WHERE did I come up with the name Protaroma Wellness?

Have a seat and enjoy some tea. ☕️

From the beginning...

My beautiful Gramma Barb (how I have ALWAYS spelled Grandma for her name), her favorite flower is the King Protea and in her loving memory, I wanted my business name and logo to be for her.

The reason I came up with Protaroma is by merging Protea and Aromatherapy together. I chose aromatherapy because it is a huge part of holistic healing and I love incorporating essential oils into my everyday health.

The logo is of course a King Protea flower. I started to look for designers to create a logo for me, however, I realized that I wanted to be the one to do it. I tried to tackle it in photoshop and after many attempts, I sketched it up on paper instead. So, now what you see in all of my branding is a logo hand drawn by me, then scanned and uploaded to Photoshop to create a PNG file.

My hand drawn logo reminds us that there are differences in each protea flower and in each of us. It represents the differences that are what makes us unique. ❤

STORY TIME PART 2

My HOW story begins with a mixture of tears and anger. Because the truth is, it's not easy. But its WORTH IT.

From changing paths tons of times, to finding what you really want to be about and running with it, to accepting some people with be against you but many will be for you!

Learning everything from scratch was the hardest, and I am still learning but it gets easier.

I will continue to learn and grow on this journey but I get to do it with so many amazing supporters and i thank them all, including you reading this now❤

STORY TIME YALL

I want this brand to be completely transparent, I am going to trust you with my personal stories, as I hope you trust me with yours.

SO, this is the story behind Protaroma Wellness. How it started, Why it started, Where the name came from, the whole entire journey from start until launch.

This is WHY it started.

I have always wanted a career in which I could help people, however, I struggled to find what resonated with my mind, body, and soul. I became a CPT, I thought helping people with their fitness goal was how I wanted to spend my life. But I quickly learned that I need more. You can be physically fit without actually being healthy in your mind, body, and soul. That's when I realized I wanted to help people heal from within and the that physical looks were a lot less important than what people seem to think.

We see people with abs and think "They are so healthy" But are they? Sure some are, but many aren't 100% healthy within their mind, body, and soul.

That is when I started studying holistic health. And everything changed for me. I started taking everything from my home and making natural versions. From home cleaning, to skin care, hair care, and most definitely my supplements!
This is just a start to my story. It's a long one.. I won't keep you any longer today. But come back Wednesday to learn HOW it started. ❤
