We were driving to Madison and the GPS took us on a surprise route, so Lucas experienced his first ferry ride! We moved our van across a lake with a boat!

Okay we know it's a bit late, but we did make it to the USA safe and sound! It's day 3, we have finally got a proper amount of sleep, and this morning we tried put "Alaskan waffles" (strawberries, banana, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream), so good!

Got checked in, through security with a bit of luck, and now waiting at the gate. 1.5 hours until departure, but you can never be too early for an international COVID time flight 🤣😂
It is T-3 days until we fly back to the USA! It has been 1.5 years since we were last there, and normally that wouldn't be such a big deal, but that last time we were there was pre-COVID. We have lived our entire COVID pandemic lives as part of Germany, so it is feeling weird to think about home, but nonetheless, here we come!
