Baler recap 🌊

Wasn’t feeling so fresh this time around. Spent almost 3 whole days in bed leading up to and in Baler, so unfortunately surfing wasn’t in the cards this trip. But we still had a great time relaxing and recharging with some good food!

Back in your feeds for another monthly update! Ngl, van life, growing a business and keeping up with all the socials is tough 😅

We officially are out of Queensland. After spending over 3 months exploring the state, we’ve made our way down the coast and are in NSW now.

The plan is to spend some time exploring the parks surrounding the Sydney area and catch up with some friends while we’re in town.

Any spots we should check out?

I’m not even a bath person, but these outdoor baths may have convinced me otherwise 👀

We got to shoot two properties back to back with outdoor baths and even though it may not be something I look for in an Airbnb, I do have to admit that they are definitely a vibe 🌿🛁

At home mine was 100% Motts Fruitsations, honey stinger chews, and apple sauce pouches (aka baby food 😅) but we’ve been trying new things out here! (Still in gummy form though)

We’ve made it to the rainforest!

The plan is to spend some time up here until it starts getting wet, explore and work a bit. Then head back down south along the coast! We haven’t spent much time at the beach yet, but we look forward to more of that sooooon!

While getting up early for sunrise, or waiting for sunset is often the best lighting, sometimes the only time you can get out to shoot is mid day.
Shooting in direct sunlight can be difficult but with a little bit of editing, it can be so rewarding!

We had so much fun exploring in Colorado!

We did a bit of everything, from guided and self guided walking tours to snowboarding & here’s a list of some of my favourites: (save this for your next trip to Colorado)

1. Paint Mines Interpretive Park
2. Garden of the Gods (pro tip, head there for sunrise, you’ll beat the crowds and get the best light)
3. Cave of the Winds
4. Breckenridge (both for snowboarding and exploring the village)
5. Ptarmigan Trail (but I don’t recommend doing this hike in the high winds, like we did)

The only full mountain I’ve ridden so far is Whistler, but even early season Breckenridge has me wanting to head back for more!

Pumpkin patch, sunflowers and golden hour 💛🎃 a perfect date 😊

I don’t remember the last time I didn’t have to get all bundled up and trudge through the mud for the pumpkin patch… don’t get me wrong it was nice, but I’m looking forward to the rain this weekend!

Not my usual type of post, but I’ve taken so many photos this year of things that don’t exactly fit into my feed, so I’ve decided to share them anyways.

This guy wasn’t too impressed that we showed up and started taking photos nearby, but we gave him his space and made sure the drone didn’t go near him (he really wasn’t impressed with the drones) and he went back to munching away on the side of the road.

Who’s gunna be in Whistler for the last weekend of bike park this weekend?

This will be our third week in a row, camping and biking and I’m honestly kinda sad it’s coming to an end.. I guess we’ll just have to find some trails we can pedal, so the fun doesn’t have to stop! Or maybe get a backpacking trip or two in 🤔

Been feeling really disconnected from photography lately. With social platforms pushing video, and that being what brands are wanting most, I feel like I haven’t been taking the time to get out there and do what I love most!

I’m going to give myself a challenge to hopefully bring back the passion and love I have for this art. I haven’t quite figured out what that challenge is, but when I do, I’ll 100% be sharing it here! Maybe some of you can join along too 😊
