In line with our goals of strengthening the Asian dance music scene and building a healthy ecosystem through Sivilian Affairs, we invite the talented sister-act Acid Sister of the Soundkoh Collective from Bangkok for the next instalment of Friendly Waters this Friday, with support from Bongomann, Dean Chew, and myself.

We will be putting up a donation box at the entrance of the party. All proceeds received will be matched by us and donated to .

It's a big lineup with everyone on it being recent Boiler Room graduates, so I do urge you to cop your tix early to avoid any disappointment.

What a ride it's been since coming out of the pandemic eighteen months ago to getting on Boiler Room 🥲

During Covid, when I wasn't at the swab centre that employed me in that confusing and dark period of my life, I was at home digging for music online. Even though nightlife was nonexistent at that time, I didn't want to lose touch with DJing.. it was the only thing that was keeping me sane, so I continued to buy and collect music. All that time spent digging had a profound effect on the next evolution of my sound & style, and I'm glad I stuck with it. Lilian's got a big part to play too, but that's a story for another day.

When Zach and I reconnected in April 2022 at the recording session (organised by Matty who's also been super supportive and deserves his own appreciation post for giving us full-time jocks work), ZZ liked what I was playing and started booking me for his parties. The first one with Kornel Kovacs in August 2022 at iki still remains one of my favourite gigs in Singapore. It was a great night, and anyone who can still remember that night will say the same. I started playing more for , and the friendship between ZZ and me just grew stronger. Fast forward to today, our recent Boiler Room b2b only made us closer, and now we are planning for some cool things in the coming months.

Zach has been instrumental in my coming up, and I am really grateful to him and a few others who've always been nurturing and supportive 🫂 man's just invested in a soundsystem that we're all gonna be seeing in full effect at all his parties from now. His next one is on October 6th with Paramida from , so cop your tix before they sell out. Appreciate you very much, my bro. To bigger and better things 😘
