april taught me that coming home isn’t always about the place.
sometimes it’s about slowing down, sitting with yourself, and realizing you don’t have to run to be growing.

in-between.

in between cities, in between chapters, in between the version of me i used to be and the one i’m still becoming.

transition is weird. even when you choose it. even when it’s exciting.
there are days it feels like freedom.
and days it feels like free fall.

i’m learning that being in-between doesn’t mean you’re behind.
it just means you’re building something new, even if you can’t see the full picture yet.

if you’re in a season where everything feels up in the air...

you’re not lost.
you’re just in motion.
and that’s still progress. 🤍

My content is shifting—here’s why👀

Four years ago, I started Single Besties on TT. At first, it was just a small Facebook group from a book club pick. I was too nervous to post on Instagram. Then last year, after my worst breakup ever, I said screw it—and finally showed up here.

Since then, this community has grown into real friendships, real conversations, and a space where singles feel celebrated, not pitied.

We’ve had two sold-out live events with an all-female lineup, comedy, music, a speaker led panel and networking.

I created those events to challenge myself—to learn how to be on stage without doing comedy. What I didn’t expect? The magic that happened in the room. The connections. The energy. The proof that we need more spaces like this.

And now, my content is shifting to reflect all of that.

We had fun, we learned, we giggled, and we were inspired. There’s something so beautiful about when a group of women come together like this.

Thank you to everyone who came out thank you for everyone who was a part I can’t wait to share the content.

this week yall get meet my boy bestie: my bother♥️

i have always prided myself on this being a community for creatives on their journey & im so honored my brother chose this to be the platform he began his creative journey 🥹

he’s the funniest, smartest, dumbest kid i know 😂

on a serious note he’s my older brother, but im SUPER protective over him (for reasons you’ll discover in the pod.) my brother has a crazy story. a story that’s tried to keep him silent for too long; but he’s finally ready to share.

he is a living redemption story. a walking example of don’t judge a book by its cover. i hope this ep serves as an example that your past does not define you. and no matter what you’ve been through your story can impact others.

i can’t wait for y’all to meet him, tmr🕊️
