I’m still not over the first ever girls night out. I have no words, just gratitude. 🥹

We had fun, we learned, we giggled, and we were inspired. There’s something so beautiful about when a group of women come together like this.

i have always prided myself on this being a community for creatives on their journey & im so honored my brother chose this to be the platform he began his creative journey 🥹

he’s the funniest, smartest, dumbest kid i know 😂

on a serious note he’s my older brother, but im SUPER protective over him (for reasons you’ll discover in the pod.) my brother has a crazy story. a story that’s tried to keep him silent for too long; but he’s finally ready to share.

he is a living redemption story. a walking example of don’t judge a book by its cover. i hope this ep serves as an example that your past does not define you. and no matter what you’ve been through your story can impact others.

This week is a special one. If you know me you know i’m SUPER private with my family. But when I was home I decided to record podcasts w the people closest to me & stop hiding them…

and lemme just say this talk was so healing and has put me all in my feels. 🥹

I think the word confidence has a bad reputation. When people think of confidence most people think of arrogance: flashy, bold, in your face. However, confidence is not the same as arrogance or narcissism.

Confidence is quiet, classy, internal. Confidence is about being rooted in who you really are. You are grounded in your sense of self. You have a realistic view of your strengths and weaknesses. ✨

When I graduated college with a degree in psychology and communication. I knew I did not want to go be a doctor.. but I knew I was passionate about mental health, personal development, and talking. 🗣️

….but I did not know what was next for me so I started this podcast. I started therapy. I started working with my own 1:1 coach.

When I began working with my own coach, and coaching groups, I said to myself “Maybe coaching might be for me.” 🤯

That was 3 YEARS AGO. but I was always so scared to start it. So I dug in, and did the work. Started my own confidence journey, learning, researching, and gaining the skills to be ready.

That’s why this summer I started an accountability group. To test the waters. To see if I could do it. to see if I even liked it. To see if it’s something I was even good at….

AND LEMME TELL YOU. I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT.

But I really missed the 1:1 aspect

That’s why i’m SO EXCITED to FINALLY launch my 1:1 program. This program is all about CONFIDENCE, gaining CLARITY, and making those DREAMS a REALITY. ✨

I have space for 5 1:1 clients to be added to this monthly program. The monthly program consists of 4 1hr 1:1 coaching calls, daily check-ins, and goal setting/achieving strategies. 🔖

I truly think coaching and any form of a personal development program is the BIGGEST and BEST investment in yourself and your future, but as a recovering commitment-phobe, I know commitment can be scary. So I have also decided to offer one-time 1:1 calls. This way you can test the waters and see if coaching is something you’re interested in, and what working with me would be like. 💪🏼

The one month application as well as the one time calls are all now 🔗’ed

In the last 2 weeks. I have lost 3 friends. From 3 different seasons of my life. To mental health related issues. All under 40.

This week is mental health week, and this year it holds a special place in my heart.

I don’t really have the words. It’s sad. It’s scary. It’s heavy. My heart is broken.

Life is hard, and life is not meant to be lived alone.

It’s made me realize: we have to talk to each other more. Real talks. We have to reach out to each other more. We have to let people know when we’re not doing okay.

We are not meant to do this life alone. No matter how lonely it feels: you are not alone.

The last few weeks have made me do some real soul searching and It’s made me remember just why I created Tana Talks. A genuine community. A safe space. A space to make you feel less alone. Im going to be transitioning and bringing back the mental health posts. Deep solo talks, and I’ve scheduled some interviews with some incredible ppl.

But in the meantime, please remember: you are not alone. It’s okay to not be okay, but it’s not okay to stay that way. I’m here for you. Never hesitate to reach out. Keep going. You got this. 🫶🏼

BUT the highest honor of speaking I’ve ever had the privilege of doing is weddings 🥹

This summer was my 2nd time marrying a couple & I never get tired of it.

This wedding was extra special. To stand with my good friends & at the most beautiful venue back home. With their closest friends & family. Was the truest expression of love.

Making people giggle feels amazing, but making people cry bc of the power of love is something I’ll never get over.
