Dragonfly Illusion
In 2016, I began writing a techno-thriller novel, declaring that I would have it finished and published in 2017. That deadline came and went.
But now, with over 90,000 words on 'paper,' it is nearing completion. Then, the checking, beta reading, and editing begin.
I might use one of these images on the cover.

Bit of a milestone here, not that I've written 100 million words. That would be over 1,000 novels worth.

I have been busy recently. My novel-in-progress, Dragonfly Illusion, is nearing completion. That's to first draft stage anyway.

Australian Commemorative Postmarks - 4th edition

After much work, my 4th edition is now with IngramSpark for technical checking and printing.

This work is in colour with more illustrations than the previous edition. I've also extended the listings to mid-2023.

I've set a release date of 10 October. Stay tuned!

I keep forgetting I have a website! Today I updated it to include my latest title Bob - The Short Life of Robert John Mutton.

My latest title is Bob. It's a tribute to my brother who died too young (30) in 1977. Aimed purely at family and any friends who find the title online, it's already scored a couple of sales. Close family get free copies from me of course.
My family surname is Mutton, by the way, I changed to Bond in 1996.

My latest book is The Postage Stamps of Aden 1937-1968 and is selling, shall we say, 'satisfactorily.' IngramSpark has a new reports function on its website so I can track sales worldwide. I was intrigued to find I sold a copy (yes, one copy) to a buyer in Poland.

IngramSpark was, as usual, very efficient in reviewing the files I submitted for The Postage Stamps of Aden 1937-1968. It's always satisfying and a relief to receive emails like this. Now comes the task of reviewing the proof and ordering a hard copy. I've set the publication date as 6 September 2022.

After more work than I anticipated, I'm nearing completion of the 2nd edition of The Postage Stamps of Aden.
This edition will be in a larger format, with more illustrations, this time in colour.
I'm even playing around with a cover design. This is what I have so far, a simple design.

Despite an earlier statement to the contrary, my next publishing effort will be a 2nd edition of The Postage Stamps of Aden 1937 - 1968. I'm about halfway through and hope to have it on sale in August. This is a first draft of the cover.
