Deedag aims to introduce the concept of ‘therapeutic storytelling’ — a method of overcoming the trauma of victims and communities in Balochistan, who have been subjected to terrorism, enabling them to speak to break mental blockades and to empower ordinary citizens by giving them a platform to share their struggles against violence. Our mission extends beyond catharsis where this media platform is

also a means of transforming a suppressed story into a new shared national history, in remembrance of those who had lost their lives and the resilience of their loved ones whose lives changed forever, yet they sprung up as unsung heroes, recovering one day at a time.
