Happy Father’s Day to my Dad in Heaven, who departed this earth almost ten years ago. The older I get, the more I realize he was alot like me. No matter how notable his achievements were, he was simply a flawed human trying to march toward tomorrow despite his fear of the unknown. In the end, it was his devotion to his family that became his lasting legacy. Happy Father’s Day to my Father-In-Law, who, at ten years my senior, is more closely aligned as an Older Brother than an Elder to me. It is his unconditional love for his flock that I most admire about him, and I thank him for his guidance. And finally, Happy Father’s Day to me. Other than having the Love of my life as a partner, I am most grateful for having had the privilege of being a Father to four incredible Children and five precious Grandchildren. Because of them, If I accomplish nothing more in my life, I will have achieved enough.
