It's the first day of spring and I've felt really de-frosty today. I like to ring in my birthday season with a bang that was definitely achieved thanks to my friends 🧡 But now today I'm feeling low, not a bad low but... you know when you experience something really great? Anything that happens after it is just less amusing or interesting. You're like, "Wow that was great~"

As an Audhder, I feel like that's especially important to remember throughout life, cuz we're such sensory people. Feeling the intensity of joy and then the plateu into contentment can be confusing. But if you remember to just fly along with your flock, minding your heart, you'll never fall apart for long.

I really loved watching the new version of Bee and Puppycat. It's such a comfy show, but it manages to interrogate some really heavy themes at the same time, like Cardamon and his mother's illness or the realities of working under capitalism. If you've watched it, who's your favorite character in the show? Mine is Cardamon tbh lol. Maybe I'll draw him later this month.

Oh and affirmation for this week: In the dark follow the light in your heart. In the readings I've done for people this past month, this was actually a primary message. No matter what you're going through, there's a part of you that's light, that's beautiful and that feels like love. What are you doing when you feel that part of you? What does that part of you need and desire? Following that can only culminate in a brighter tomorrow. It's divine and it's your right as a human being on this Earth to be able to follow the light in your heart.
