CHAPTER 8

James saw Ella on top of Chloe. She was not just on top of Chloe, she was k***ing Chloe. What did he just see? His own daughter?? That was the end for Chloe he was going to kill her. He rushed to carry Ella off from Chloe when he realized he was stuck. What is happening to him?
Why can't he move?
He looked up and there was Chloe looking at him and smiling while Ella kept smooching her.
He tried to shout but he couldn't.

Ella looked up to him and said Daddy, I and Aunty Ella is going to take my sister. She needs her too. James tried to know who needs his unborn child but his lips were sealed.

Ella walked up to him and he saw her tongue was like that of a snake. Her eyes were reddish like someone drunk with wine. What is really going on James asked himself.

Chloe whispered in his ears that she was going to kill his wife and take her unborn child. James was so helpless and Chloe started to strangle him with an unseen hand.

Just then his alarm rang it's 6:00am already. It was just a dream. Seems like he kept on pondering and didn't know when sleep took him off. Thank God it was just a dream

But what type of a dream is that?
This is the second he is having such nightmares!! It all started since Chloe came into his family!! Is Chloe a witch?
Is this a revelation?
Has she initiated Ella?

He switched on his light and saw Ella inside his room smiling at him. Good morning Daddy she said. James was startled . He didn't know if he should be scared of his own daughter. Ella what is the matter? What are you doing here?
I thought we taught you how to knock before entering I and your mother's room?

Yes Daddy it's just that I woke up and Aunty Chloe reminded me that I did not do my homework. My pencil is inside your room. I have been knocking and no one opened the door.

Okay here you go, take your pencil and go do your homework. Ella took her pencil and ran off.

Why is his mind playing games on him, how can he narrate this to his wife? She will say he has started again what almost made them loose their lives. So James decided to keep it to himself.

James wanted to take Ella and Chloe out when Felicia came calling out, telling him to leave Chloe at home. She is feeling a lot of pains and will need someone to help her get some things. James took Ella and dropped her off at school.

James reached the office and began to think again. He became restless .
Why is he dreaming alot about Chloe?
Is she a witch?
What really did I dream about?
He remembered Ella telling him in his dream that they are after his unborn daughter.
This must be a revelation.

James remembered that he hasn't been praying. It was time he goes to see a pastor. He doesn't think he can handle this on his own.
James took permission from his work and left to go meet his pastor to explain his dreams and what is going on in his house. Something told him it wasn't ordinary.

Back home, Felicia kept on feeling pains , she called Chloe and told her to help her rub her stomach. This pain was different from the one she felt when she wanted to give birth to Ella .

Chloe saw the perfect opportunity to add the unborn child into her list. She started rubbing on Felicia's stomach. Few minutes later, the water was broken and it was time for delivery.

Chloe called James to come carry Felicia to the hospital. James was almost at the church but he had no option than to turn immediately to take his wife to the hospital.

When he arrived, he carried her into the car and Chloe followed. It was in the car that James realized that his dream was about to be played into reality. But he only wished it not to be the same.

He hopes and sincerely hope that the Chloe here and the one in his dreams were not the same. He got to the hospital and quickly called for the midwives who came carrying Felicia into the labour room.

Since he didn't make it to the church, James decided to call his pastor to tell him his wife was in labour and needed his prayers. He dipped his hand into his pockets and realized his phone wasn't there. Maybe he left it in his car he thought. He ran out and went to his car. He searched and searched but couldn't find his phone.

Going back into the hospital,he met Chloe standing at the same spot she was standing in his dreams.

CHAPTER 3

They school said a lady came and took my Ella, but who else will Ella follow. I know my Ella she can't follow anyone just like that.
Won't it be Chloe?
She is a female and Ella loved her from when she saw her!!
I thought you left her at the bus stop to go back? She looked at James expecting some answers from him.

But if it is Chloe why will she kidnap my child? What wrong did I do to her?? The tears started again as the school management kept running from here to there to get answers. Just then.

Felicia's phone rang.

It must be those that took my child she said and her hands started to shake. James took the phone from her and picked the call and she starred at him hoping her daughter is fine.

Hello Felicia... That was a female voice James took the phone off his ear and looked. The name is already registered on the phone. I think it's Chloe calling!
Felicia took the phone quickly from James. Chloe what have I done to deserve this from you?
Where is my daughter?
Why did you kidnap my daughter?
My Ella

Chloe: kidnap your daughter?
I didn't kidnap anyone. I am in front of the house with Ella and I called so you can open the gate for us.

Felicia: In front of my own house?

Chloe: Yes

Felicia: I thought you left... Just wait we are coming.

Hangs up .

Chloe said she is with our daughter and they are waiting for us. Chloe ?? but how come James asked!!! I don't know I just want my daughter Felicia replied.

James pointed at the school Management and told them that they should pray his daughter is in front of his house as he just heard. He was going to come back for them anyways.

James took his wife and drove off to his house hoping and praying they both are in front of his house as Ella said.

On getting home, there was Chloe and Ella in front of the house playing together waiting for them. Felicia was the first to drop from the car. She went to Ella and carried her.

Chloe what is the meaning of this?
What kind of play is this?
What are you doing here?
I thought you should be on your way to Aba by now?
Why did you go to pick up Ella from school??
How did you know her closing time?
So many questions and needed answers.

Calm down Felicia, it's a long story let's talk inside. James was happy at least his child is back home and safe. He couldn't imagined what would have happened if he didn't see his little Queen again. He left for work leaving them behind.

When they went inside, Felicia still needed answers to the questions she asked. She asked again Chloe tell me what are you doing here and why did you go pick Ella from her school without telling me. Really , why should you even go in the first place?

Felicia I don't like they way you're overreacting. You do like you don't know me and what I'm capable of!! You think I'll kidnap Ella?? Why will I do that to my big sister she said smiling.

Well , I'll try and make the story breif. Your husband left Ella first before dropping me off. That was how I knew her school. I was already inside the loading bus when a call came from the management of the company. That they want me to start my one week trial period from tomorrow before I am fully employed. I can't go to Aba and make it back here by 7am tomorrow morning.

So I suggested I just help you pick Ella from school. I stayed over 3 hours at her school waiting for her. When Ella saw me she was happy. And she told one of the teachers that I am her mother's younger sister. So they allowed me to go with her.

( Felicia remembered when Chloe introduced herself to Ella as her mother's younger sister)

And I wanted to do this kind gesture so at least I won't be useless here for you. I'll help you with some house chores since you're pregnant.

So from what you're saying, you'll be here for one week? Felicia inquired. Yes just one week. Help me beg your husband please.
If I am employed then I'll find myself a place and move out. And I'll use the opportunity to know about this place.

But if I'm not employed or found worthy, I'll just go back to Aba and keep hoping.

It's okay, I'll see what I can do, you know I'm not the only one in the house. I'll ask for my husband's permission. So for now I can't really say yes or no. We will discuss and get back to you.

What is in the kitchen Chloe asked, I'll be the one making dinner. Just relax for today, someone is here to help a big sister out she said smiling. I'll cook with Ella today.
