“Yes, I am coming soon."

These are the final words of Jesus Christ in the Bible. Remember that when we say that Jesus is coming soon, they are HIS words, not ours! And remember that God is not slow in keeping his promise, as WE understand slowness. For "with the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day."

Everything began in the Garden, and everything will end in the Garden. Eden shall be restored! The river of the water of life will flow. No longer will there be any curse. There will be no more night. HE will reign forever and ever!

Once God's judgement is complete, there will be a NEW Heaven and a NEW Earth! The old order of things will be gone...tossed away and remembered no more!

No more death, no more pain. God's dwelling place will be among HIS people! And a new Jerusalem will be established...it's beauty and wonder unfathomable. A city without a temple, because God and Jesus, the Lamb, ARE the temple! Nothing impure will ever enter it, only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life!

Make sure that your name is written in the BOOK, not the many books. The Lamb's Book of Life!

Once the thousand year reign of Jesus is finished, and Satan is thrown into the lake of fire, the great judgement of the dead by God begins.

There are many books that will be opened, but there will only be one BOOK, the book of life! All the dead will be judged according to what they have done that is written in the books, and they will be thrown into the lake of fire...the second death!

We, the body of Christ, only have to face one death, though! Christ has taken that second death from us! You MUST be born again! Be sure that your name is written in the ONE BOOK, the book of life, and not the other books that will be opened! For anyone whose name is not written in the book of life will surely face the second death!

Can you imagine? King Jesus ruling on the earth. No deception. We have new bodies, we are like Him!

It's hard to fathom, but this is our HOPE! Our hope is that He will return, and that we will be like Him because we shall see him as He is!

"On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations."

Ever since the enemy was able to get a seed into Adam, the entire world has been facing this shroud of deception, and will continue to until Jesus reigns for a thousand years! Satan will be locked up and deception will be no more.

BUT...he will be loosed once more after a millennium, and he will deceive the nations again, their number greater than the sand on the seashore!

Do we realize how easy it is to be deceived apart from Christ?

For the Church, it is usually easy to distinguish the Light from the Darkness. But how do you distinguish the Light from the Light? Are you speaking the language of Jesus, the truth, or the language of the world, or lies?

The deception will only continue to grow. Remember that when Satan tempted Jesus in the desert, he used God's word VERBATIM! He didn't twist the word. Satan deceives and will continue to deceive!

Are you born again? Do you have ears to hear? Are you speaking the language of Christ, so that you may not be deceived?

The angel said to John "Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!" And as John fell at his feet to worship, the angel says "Don't do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus!" Even the angels worship our Lord Jesus!

Our Lord's feet will touch the Mount of Olives, and the beast and his prophet will be thrown into the lake of fire! And the rest will be killed so that the birds may feast on them.

Leading up the The Seven Bowls, God has already been pouring his wrath out on the Earth and it’s inhabitants. As the Seven Bowls are poured out, even more unimaginable wrath is cast out. But God, for a moment, relents. But the angels tell Him that His judgement is just! It is warranted. Remember the Son who was crucified and yet the testimony was rejected! The Messiah was rejected!

We cannot fathom the level of deception during the Day of the Lord. The pull will be so strong. And there are many who will receive the mark in that day and they will be separated from God…forever!

Jesus commanded us to go and make disciples. Commanded! Not requested, nor asked. The fields are white but the workers are few.

We hope you had a wonderful holiday celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

We’ve taken a couple of weeks off here at the Catch You On The Way Up podcast to do the same, but we will be back with a new episode continuing our study of the Book of Revelation on Monday, January 8th.

Tomorrow begins a new year! With the new year often comes many resolutions. What better resolution than to do the work that God has set out for us! Remember also that Jesus told us to keep watch! That He will return…SOON!
