May 30th: Biafra Remembrance Day

Today, we commemorate the Biafran people and reflect upon our enduring struggle during the Biafra War. We honor the countless lives lost, including innocent children, mothers, and fathers.

We also pay tribute to the courageous heroes who valiantly fought for Biafra's independence, displaying unwavering bravery and unyielding hope.

While the Biafra War brought forth immense tragedy, it also demonstrated the indomitable spirit and resilience of the Biafran people. We shall forever remember those who perished and persistently strive for a brighter future for Biafra.

We also remember those who have in recent times lost their lives, and also those languishing in various detention centres across the country, merely for exercising their rights to self determination and the actualisation of the Biafran State.

However, today is not solely a day of remembrance; it is also a day to envision the days ahead. We must never forget the sacrifices made and persistently endeavor towards a brighter future for all Biafrans.

UPDATE ON TODAY’S PROCEEDINGS BEFORE THE SUPREME COURT OF NIGERIA ON ONYENDU MAZI NNAMDI KANU’S CASE:

Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case came up today for the scheduled hearing of the appeal. However, the hearing was stultified by the Federal Government's request for an extension of time, to enable them file their Reply brief.

It will be recalled that during the proceedings of the 27th April, 2023, the Learned Presiding Justice of the Supreme Court gave the parties, timelines within which to file their respective briefs so that the hearing of the main appeal will go on today. But in their usual practice, the Federal Government started by filing a brief which was in excess of the threshold 40 pages allowed by the convention and practice of the Supreme Court.

This fundamental error was promptly observed by our legal team ably led by the erudite man of letters and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Prof. Mike Ozekhome, SAN, who immediately called the Learned Silk representing the FGN, and further wrote to the Attorney General, notifying them of the obvious anomaly; and requested them to take immediate steps to avoid anything capable of truncating the proceedings of today.

On account of this correpsondence, the Federal Government filed another Appellant’s brief of 40 pages, and served on our team on Thursday, by which time they were clearly outside the time granted them by the Supreme Court to file the process.

Notwithstanding this obvious shenanigans introduced by the Federal Government to frustrate today’s hearing, we promptly filed our Respondent's brief of argument and served same on them within the time allotted to us by the court.

However, unfortunately, when the proceedings resumed this morning, the Federal Government applied for a short adjournment to enable them file their Reply Brief. This was a clear ploy to frustrate today’s hearing. It is indeed in the Federal Government’s DNA to file court processes late hours before the scheduled hearing in Onyendu's matters, at times, they will file and hide their court process from us.

Our erudite Lead Counsel Prof. Mike Ozekome, SAN, however, strongly maintained relying on extant laws, that the appeal was ripe for hearing. He even proceeded to appeal to the court to even hear our motions particularly the one for the transfer of Onyendu to the Correctional Center pending the hearing of the appeal. It was part of his compelling submission that that Onyendu's health condition is worsening in the DSS' gulag where he's illegally held in solitary confinement.

The Learned Justices of the Supreme Court, however, gave a comprehensive account of their tight schedule which may not even permit them to hear any of the applications today because they have constitional timelines within which to deliver a Ruling or Judgement, which they cannot meet up with if any of the applications is taken today. They eventually adjourned the matter to 14th September, 2023, for the hearing of the two appeals.

It is to be emphasized that the Federal Government is employing every unprofessional methods to ensure that the hearing of the appeal is delayed so that Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be kept in solitary confinement indefinitely.
The Federal Government was the party that filed the present appeal, but have shown total lack of diligence to prosecute same.

However, I want to assure Umuchineke that justice can only be delayed but not denied, the Federal Government can only run but they can not hide.
We are not resting on our oars until Onyendu is freed unconditionally, be assured.

We shall keep Ezigbo UmuChineke abreast of every development as we progress.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s heath worsen in DSS dungeon.

The information I received this night over the worsen health of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is very disturbing , from what I heard am very very worried and purely afraid for his life.

From the message he sent , He complained very sadly that he is dying slowly. He complained of inadequate medication and he is subjected to drug abuse as medicine meant for two weeks may be given for only 8 days.

He complained that the DSS have denied him seeing a doctor since the second week of December till date and DSS has refused to take him to the doctor even after complaining that he feels his internal organs are badly affected but the DSS have totally refused to take him to a hospital.

Furthermore , he also complained bitterly about his left ear as he complained that he was hit on the ear during the time they were torturing him before his renditioned from Kenya to Nigeria .
He also complained that if he lies down whatever he ate will start coming out from his mouth , this is very dangerous and unacceptable , He says he is afraid he may not survive it as he being denied any form of medical attention.

Again with all these illness he is going through , he complained about poor feeding as DSS feeds him only bread most times morning and night and the feedings are very expensive .

Let me sound this note of warning , there will be no peace in Nigeria and Biafraland if anything happens to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and failure to release Mazi Nnmadi as court has ordered as he has been discharged and acquitted will throw the nation into crisis soonest , that election most of them dream of , will all evaporated in tin air .
/ should deny IPOB members visas to their countries now because we are not going fold our hands and watch our leader die in the hands of the Nigeria government and moves around in land to talk about election .

Let’s all know this , what is happening to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a bad precedent as anybody in Nigeria and Biafra can be detained , even without a charge , citing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case as judicial precedent.

Biafrans arise , the time is here , release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu or invite anarchy to your door steps .

Anonymous Shuts Down The Official Website Of The DSS And Threatened To Go After The Central Bank Of Nigeria If The Nigerian Government Fail To Release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Unconditional

Anonymous is the strongest group of computer wizards in the world fighting against injustice around the globe, the group is Hell-bent on fighting against corrupt governments and corrupt Politicians in the world, Anonymous has helped to unveil many evil plans by these corrupt notorious individuals in government positions and their collaborators.

According to a statement posted on the Anonymous official page, they noted that they have taken down the official website of the lawless secret police of the Nigerian government known as the DSS for the failure of the Nigerian government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu after the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra who have been illegally held in the DSS dungeon after his extraordinary rendition from Kenya to Nigeria in mid June 2021.
According to the statement Anonymous claimed responsible for the action, noting that this is in line with their 50 days ultimatum known as given to the Nigerian government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally which the Nigerian government and the DSS have failed to do after the expiration of the ultimatum.

Umuchiukwu Writers confirmed this in a statement released by the Anonymous official page today, 30th April 2022, The statement reads.

"Official DSS.com is taken down and ready for sale. Domain is now for sale as it is scrapped". And "Www.dssnigeria.com is taken down. Official data site for Nigeria Dss, all taken down. All money hijacked and taken over".

The statement continued "We give you 20 days from today to get Mr Kanu released immediately or we take down Central Bank Nigeria"

In conclusion, the statement reads "No1 attack launched, is on officially, Let’s play this game of chess, We remain Anonymous"

Anonymous is loved by the people especially the Biafran people, for taking bold steps against oppressors, those they refer to as agents.

Anonymous on numerous occasions has pledged their support for the coming of the new nation called Biafra and has never relented in encouraging Biafrans to continue in their fight for their freedom assuring them that Biafra restoration is very near.

WHERE IS OUR HUMANITY?

His landlord sent him and his family packing because he could not renew his house rent.

He then applied for loan from the manager of the company he was working for, but the loan was not approved.

He contacted the influential man in his community, but could not find help. He then called his relatives on the phone , but no one helped him.

He went to Facebook and posted, seeking for help, but the only thing he got was: 2likes and 0 comments.

He became frustrated and sent 120 messages to friends on his contact list, asking them for support of N100,000. Unfortunately, only 10 people responded to the message. Six out of the 10 said they had nothing to give. Only one out of 4 people gave him N20,000, but the rest kept apologizing and eventually stopped picking his calls.

The landlord locked the house!

His family were thrown out and left at the front door of the house with their belongings.

He became more frustrated!

He went everywhere in search of help but could not find one until nightfall.

As he made more effort in the dark, looking for solution, a truck ran over him and killed him instantly.

The next day, news of his death spread everywhere.

His Facebook friends made 2220 posts on his wall, mourning his death and expressing their admiration for him.

The landlord immediately ran to open the door for his family to go in to receive mourners.

The influential man who earlier refused to help him, took some food items and groceries to the family to cook for the mourners.

Preparations for his burial began later and his friends, who formed a committee raised N1,200,000 through donations to feed sympathizers that will be coming from different places.

His co-workers also raised N300,000 to collect booths, chairs and other items.

WHERE IS OUR HUMANITY???

Breaking: Alleged Terrorism: Court strikes out 8 out of the 15 court charge against Nnamdi Kanu.

Justice Binta Nyako of the federal high court Abuja has struck out 8 of the 15 count charge brought by the federal government against the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu.

Delivering ruling on the validity of the charge Justice Binta held that In this instant preliminary objection application, counts 6,7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 14 have not disclosed any offense by the defendant , while Count 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 15 shows some allegations.

The trial of the defendant shall proceed on the those count,.

She noted that rendition for the purpose of criminal investigation is allowed. In the instant case, there is bench warrant on the defendant, suffice it say, he is a fugitive before the court.

The court also held that the issue of proscription of IPOB, the case is still on appeal, the order proscribing the organization is still subsisting until it is vacated.
