As many tradesmen began to lose their jobs, Jonny saw an opportunity to start his own business. Despite having only one week's worth of work lined up, Jonny took the risk and made the jump. Today, Orocco is a successful joinery business, and it is safe to say that Jonny's decision paid off in the end.

The Our Stories Your City Project 🌆

Mercat Tours understands the power of stories in connecting people, places, and the past. Unfortunately, some people have lost this connection. Vulnerable communities can feel disconnected from their city and its stories. To address this issue, Mercat established the Our Stories Your City Project. Donations are used to provide the same 5-star tour that you would enjoy to members of the GCP and vulnerable local children, free of charge and at an exclusive discount offered by attractions. Your donations make this possible.

Victoria loved working as a computer programmer at Edinburgh University... well, apart from the part where she had to answer to other people. 💻

As her 'side hustle' began to take off, Victoria had to go down to a part-time position within the university - luckily they were more lenient in that respect. 😅
