The current musical landscape in this city is a shame. Austin claims to be the "Live music capital of the world" but there is very little appreciation for the working musician in this town. We aim to change that. Now, more than ever, we are surrounded by amazing young talent. I have personally shared the stage with some amazing musicians whose only hurdle is the current process of playing gigs in this town. Booking agencies are a joke. They take advantage of our talent and run away with the lion's share of the money earned. We all know how hectic it is to get friend's and family to our gigs. Why should we pay someone for our hard work? This group is dedicated to brotherhood. The goal is to get a solid lineup of talent and book complete shows ourselves. No middle-man. Just us and the venue. We have resources for sound and door guys as well as lights and fog machines. All details will be discussed openly. No shadyness whatsoever. ALL profits will be evenly split amongst the artists. This page and group will make NO profit off of shows. The group is as much yours as it is mine. EVERY genre is welcomed as long as the artists all agree on the vision and goal of this group. I trust and respect everyone here as musicians and as people. Let's take a stand and come together. We are more powerful united.
