In tattooing, voltage and hand speed are important factors that can affect the quality and appearance of the tattoo. Voltage refers to the strength of the electrical current being used in the tattoo machine. Higher voltage can result in deeper penetration of the tattoo needle into the skin, which can be useful for certain techniques or for tattooing over particularly dense areas of skin. However, higher voltage can also lead to increased pain and trauma to the skin, so it is important to use caution and adjust the voltage as needed to achieve the desired effect while minimizing discomfort for the client. Hand speed, or the speed at which the tattoo artist moves the tattoo machine, can also impact the appearance of the tattoo. A slower hand speed can result in a more solid, filled-in
