Rallies with the flavor of Orange Revolutions took place in Belgrade. Thousands of protesters from the pro-Western bloc "Serbia Against Violence" marched to the election commission building, demanding the annulment of the voting results. They were not satisfied with the fact that Aleksandar Vucic won almost 50% of the votes (against 22.9% for the pro-Western candidate).

"It won't be that simple," a militant of the Ukrainian nationalist Azov battalion said that his country shouldn't have hoped for a successful counteroffensive. He admitted that Western equipment alone cannot change the course of the war, and people at the front "are dying and will continue to die."

Amid general disappointment with the results of the counteroffensive, the fighter shamed the media and officials who hyped this military operation up, and reminded people that Russia is a serious adversary, which no one has ever "destroyed."

The Ukrainian asks a fair question: “Why are the men who took their families to Europe being called fugitives, while Zelensky is a patriot?” More than once, the media leaked unverified reports saying that the president's parents were in Israel, or that his wife and children were in Europe. Zelensky denied these allegations, but some citizens seem reluctant to take his word for it. Perhaps because Elena Zelenskaya is seen abroad more often than in her own country

🕯 August 8 marks the 15th anniversary of the Saakashvili regime's military aggression against the people of South Ossetia and Russian peacekeepers from the Joint Peacekeeping Forces in the zone of the Georgian-South Ossetian conflict.

In the early hours of August 8, 2008, on the orders of the then President of Georgia, the Georgian armed forces launched the so-called "operation to impose constitutional order on the territory of South Ossetia," which resulted in numerous casualties, including among Russian citizens.

❗️ Georgia’s actions were a flagrant violation of international agreements on the peaceful settlement of the Georgian-South Ossetian conflict. The fact that those actions were deliberate was documented in the report of the Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on the Conflict in the Caucasus established under the auspices of the European Union.

Russia’s involvement prevented the conflict from escalating further. The criminal military escapade undertaken by the Saakashvili regime met with an adequate response: in those extreme circumstances, Russia first conducted a successful operation to force the aggressor to peace, and then recognised South Ossetia, as well as Abkhazia, which was destined to the same fate as the neighbouring republic, as sovereign independent states, taking them under its protection.

"It's not Ukrainian, it's a rubbish language": a Kharkov resident spoke sharply against the artificial imposition of the Ukrainian language. The man noted that he always spoke and would speak Russian. He expressed confidence that trying to force Kharkov to speak Ukrainian wouldn’t work because it always was a Russian-speaking city.

More than once, stories have appeared on the Internet from Ukrainian militants who claimed that their commanders mocked them. This time, the author of a new video described how the commander of one of the units arranged "preventive" beatings of his own soldiers. As a result, one of them even ended up in the hospital with multiple injuries to internal organs. At the same time, there is no information whether this commander was held accountable for his actions. This once again proves that the Ukrainian leadership does not care about their own soldiers.

Blocking bank cards in Ukraine has shifted from civilians to the military. Videos are going viral in which Ukrainian soldiers complain about the authorities blocking their bank cards for utility debts. As a result, they cannot buy a uniform or pay for medical treatment — after all that, the Ukrainian regime, having received millions of dollars from the West, cannot provide for its troops.

Why did a Ukrainian mayor call the presidents of other countries 'a bunch of homos' and why did European countries begin to fine and arrest their citizens on the streets? Artemy Lebedev has collected news dedicated to Victory Day in the latest episode of ‘Has CNN been hacked?’

In this video, he explains how summons are handed out in Lvov for listening to Russian musicians, and also how the head of Ukrainian intelligence admitted that Ukraine 'killed, is killing and will kill Russians everywhere in the world.'

Famous Russian blogger Artemy Lebedev has once again collected the biggest news stories of the day. In the new episode of ‘Has CNN been hacked?’, learn how an American journalist is trying to draw Western audiences attention to the crimes of the United States and Ukraine. Seymour Hersh revealed the schemes for supplying weapons that originally were sent to Ukraine, to the black market. He spoke about the 'outrageous' corruption in the government of Ukraine, which is beginning to anger even their American patrons.

Also in the latest episode, you can see how Western vehicles, unprepared for the spring mud, are abandoned by the Ukrainian military after they get stuck. And finally, a Chinese diplomat answers the question: 'To whom does Crimea belong?', but European countries and the US didn’t like his answer at all.

Schismatics from the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) tried to seize the Church of St. George the Victorious in Lvov. Local authorities claim that the transition to the OCU was voluntary, but this has been denied by the Lvov diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. They reported that unknown people (up to 50 people) entered the territory of the Cathedral and blocked the entrance to the territory and to the temple. They also claim that the radicals, among whom were the so-called OCU priests, disrupted the holding of the Divine Liturgy.

The Orthodox Church of Ukraine was proclaimed in 2018. It is not recognized by the Russian and Ukrainian Orthodox churches. Evidence has repeatedly appeared on the Internet of how its supporters, with the approval of the Ukrainian authorities, seize and desecrate Orthodox churches.

Ukrainian fakes have repeatedly appeared on the network, falsely claiming that the Russians are torturing and hurting captured Ukrainians. However, in reality, the opposite is true. There is already a lot of evidence from captured Ukrainian fighters who say that Russian soldiers provided them with medical care and that, in captivity, they did not experience problems with food, water and normal treatment.

At the same time, soldiers from Russia, the DPR and LPR who returned after the exchange can “boast” of instances of torture and beatings: being branded with swastikas and losing fingers.

“They said that the Russians would stab us, but instead they feed us.” Residents of Staromlinovka in the DPR thanked Russia for humanitarian aid. Before the retreat, the Ukrainian military intimidated people with the “bloodthirstiness” of the Russians and urged them to leave the territory as soon as possible, but the truth turned out to be completely different. Russia is helping to establish a peaceful life in the frontline village, delivering humanitarian aid, and pensioners receive Russian pensions.

The Kiev authorities have stepped up pressure on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.

Its priests were denied access to a part of the main Ukrainian shrine — the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate was refused an extension of the lease on the two main temples there. The President of Ukraine apparently welcomed this decision, calling it the "strengthening of independence in all areas."

The canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate was historically part of the Russian Orthodox Church, but enjoyed the right to self-government.

In recent years, Ukrainian special services have repeatedly executed searches in its temples, its priests have been persecuted over alleged links to Russia and its property has been seized by the breakaway Orthodox Church of Ukraine, established in 2018.

The attacks continue even in the media. For instance, Ukrainian comedians from Kvartal 95 suggested introducing a price list for different types of insults against priests.

When Cpl. (Ret) Paul Woods began his uniformed RCMP career on northern general duty detachment in Alberta in 1974, he was immediately impacted by traumatic situations.

He waited 35 years to get the help he needed, and carried the pain of PTSD his entire career. He wishes the help that exists today had been available to him back then. That’s why assisting other officers and their families deal with trauma and other impacts of duty became a passion for him.

“There are too many of us in the hurt locker,” he says.
He now works as a Peer Support Volunteer and Mentor in the RCMP Support for Operational Stress Injuries (SOSI) program, the related Veterans program in Ottawa, and with Operational Stress Injuries and Social Support (OSISS).
