Equatorial Guinea's Vice President Teodoro Obiang Mangue accused the Spanish embassy and its visa application agency of extorting Equatoguinean citizens. In a post on X, Obiang Mangue said the agency collected payments for applications it knew it would deny and did not pay taxes to the national government. “It is clear that the refusal to issue visas to Equatoguineans is a place created by the Spanish embassy in Malabo to extort money from the population and profit from their savings,” he said.

LATEST ACQUISITION OF ARMY EQUIPMENTS BY BURKINABE GOVERNMENT 🇧🇫.

These include, among others, 75 military vehicles consisting of 7 armoured ambulances, 20 M53 vehicles, 20 Sadco vehicles, 20 tank vehicles, 4 Armored car vehicles, 2 Armored Bus vehicles, APC memsah vehicles.

This equipment was acquired on own funds and also thanks to the fruitful partnership between Burkina Faso and the Arab Republic of Egypt according to the Ministry of National Defense and Veterans Affairs, Brigadier General Kassoum Coulibaly who handed over the equipment on Thursday April 18, 2024
