A true Extended Reality (XR) environment engages all five senses, requesting the communication and transfer of information related to the five senses of hearing, sight, taste, smell, and touch.

This technology uses the neurological process through sensory integration. It detects the sensations from the human body and the environment and uses the body effectively within the environment and local circumstances. The research in this field is at a very early stage.

A full experience involves the haptic communication, that is a branch of nonverbal communication that uses the sense of touch: remote users will be able to enjoy haptic experiences through real-time interactive systems.

The implementation of haptic systems and applications will be facilitated by the superior features of 6G communication networks.

3D movies appear in Apple TV app before Vision Pro launches in 2024

MacRumors reports citing FlatPanelsHD's post that the movie was found in the Apple TV app with a "3D" icon, which resembles the body design of Apple's Vision Pro, 3D glasses.

For movies with 3D icons listed, there are Jurassic World Dominion, Pacific Rim Uprising, Shrek, Trolls, Warcraft, Minions: The Rise of Gru, Mortal Engines, Everest, Kung Fu Panda 3 and others.

At the moment, there is no confirmation of what the 3D format of the movie will be. It can be played without using or only requires Vision Pro. And there is no details on how much resolution and Frame Rate the video is.

In the launch of Vision Pro, Apple has shown off a 3D Avatar trailer that delivers a virtual movie viewing experience, and Apple may launch Apple TV+ with 3D content to serve alongside Vision Pro.

SceneResponsiveness where we explore the next stage of situated MixedReality.

Scene Responsiveness deepens the illusion of passthrough AR so that virtual actions and virtual characters seemingly affect the physical scene. We toggle the reality state of objects from physical to virtualized by building on situated digital twins and a novel graphics and shader pipeline.

This allows the objects to be manipulated in all ways virtuality affords while maintaining visual coherence and visuotactile consistency.
