I recently had a conversation with my dad about perspective. We discussed the fact that we interpret a lot of things in life based on how we look at it. It wasn’t long after that talk that I was on a walk on what could be considered a gloomy day. However, I was in a particularly good mood. Taking in all of my surroundings, I noticed that ahead of me was this beautiful scene of lights seemingly bursting through the clouds, and I had a thought:

“Even when you are going through dark times, there is no need to dwell on the bad things that happened in the past. All of that is behind you. Just keep looking forward to the bright opportunities ahead of you!”
