диня 🍉 (dinya). We live in one of the most famous watermelon growing regions of Bulgaria - and we can certainly see why! I have never tasted watermelon as good as this before! Our neighbour grows watermelons and he was quick to gift us some on our return home. Absolutely delicious - and a great way to keep hydrated.

🇬🇧✈️🚗🇧🇬
We are all finally back home in after yet another 'longer than planned' trip back to the UK.
Is it hot? 🥵 Yes it is, but then it's hardly surprising when we are so far south of the country 😊 no complaints.
Are we all okay? ☺️ We're all doing okay. Taking the next week to get back to our 'normal', finding our flow and routine again. Terrible twos ARE NOT fun!
How is the land since we've been away? 🥴my vegetable patch is rather WILD. The irrigation has worked an absolute treat for the fruit trees!
Is there a video tonight? Not tonight. We're feeling SO good being back and we've got SO much to fill you all in on.

There is no video tonight 😢 We had to make a quick trip back to England (which involved a 14 hour delay and reroute) and to say things didn't go to plan would be an understatement. Phil is halfway through editing this week's video but Ember has been poorly and it's just been too much to juggle. We're Phil and Kayleigh, a husband and wife living in rural Bulgaria with our two children, Alex and Ember. It's always been our dream to live a more self-sustainable life off grid.
