Showers and storms are starting to make their way into our neck of the woods. This is a weather aware day for most of us in the viewing area. The highest threats are going to be damaging winds in excess of 60MPH as well as the potential for an isolated tornado. Also, Most of us will see roughly 1-3 inches of rain from this, this could bring us localized flooding to some parts of the area.

Small clusters of showers are moving into Northwest Georgia.
Current Radar View 12/29/2021. The maroon boxes are indicating Tornado Watches that are in effect.
The National Weather Service has issued a TORNADO WATCH for several counties in our area, including Hamilton and Marion in Tennessee. This also includes numerous other counties around us in East Tennessee and northern Alabama. This watch is currently in effect until noon Eastern/11AM Central time.
The outlook for today (Saturday) has been updated, extending the slight risk area to the east a bit. Stay weather aware as the morning hours progress!
