MINNEAPOLIS AND DISMANTLING THE POLICE.
June 2020, the city council unanimously voted a proposal to dismantle the police, they wanted to show that they could go further than anyone else.
Today, they voted 6 million to hire more police. This action to dismantle has hurt neighborhoods, experience officers moved on and inexperienced officers are going to fill that void. The response time to help the citizens of Minneapolis has degraded dramatically. This slow response is seen also in other cities because they lack the manpower as they try to defund the police.

ANDREW CUOMO
There were many in the media saying "Cuomo for president" or "he is presidential material", eventhough there were reports stating the he sent elderly covid patients back to the ill-equipped nursing homes, where the virus spread.
A empty hospital ship and two makeshift hospitals at central Park and the javits center were ready to receive patients, but he demanded that the nursing homes take back their patients.
It is now alledged by multiple media outlets and a Cuomo aide, that they underreported the amount of nursing home deaths by 9,000 because they feared the feds would use it against them. That is obstruction of justice.

THANK YOU President Biden, for not lifting the sanctions on Iran. This will allow time for other Arabic countries like Saudi Arabia and Israel to enter a peace agreement. Over seventy years of conflict and Palestinians suffering the most, we have to find a way to a two state solution, and isolating Iran will open doors and a pathway to that goal.

WHAT IS AN INDEPENDENT?
An Independent believes in actions, not words.
An Independent believes in policies, not politicians or parties.
An Independent DO NOT believe that one politician is like a Pope and the other like Satan.
An Independent don't trust politicians because they first goal is to get reelected.
An Independent will not get penned in like some animal to do the parties bidding, instead of the parties doing their bidding.
An Independent will not support a flawed candidate, because he is in a certain party.
An Independent will not keep quiet at wrong doings for fear that an opposing candidate or party will get the upper hand.
If an Independent believes that a policy benefits the people, he/she will support it regardless of party.
An Independent will not falter or fade because of pressure from party sympathizer.
WE, Independents are encourage that polls are showing Democrats 31%, Republicans 31%, INDEPENDENTS 38%.
We are strong and growing stronger and it is up to US to keep this country a centrist country, not a far left or far right country.

President Biden rejoining the World Health Organization and the Paris Climate Agreement could only benefit the world. Without the US participation in these organizations, countries around the world will not be able to keep their citizens healthy.
In joining the WHO, President Biden must insist that China pay the fees of a developed nation and other countries pay their fair share. On the Paris Climate Agreement, President Biden must insist that countries like India and China work to reduce their CO2 emissions.
It is frustrating that some countries are reducing their CO2s, while other countries like China have done nothing, but it is good that the Biden administration decided to reverse this policy. It is better to be engage, than to remove yourself from the fight for a cleaner environment.

THE DEATH OF THE CASHIER, and the dark side of automation.
When they first started with self checkouts, I walked into the Giants grocery store, and saw a change at the registers. There were four self checkouts and ten cash registers for cashiers.
I had a conversation while cashing my groceries and asked the cashier, if it had taken jobs away from cashiers, she looked at me upset and replied "yes". I replied that I will do what I can so cashiers will have a job.
Today, at our local Walmart, they converted it entirely to self checkouts, not one cashier is employed at that store. Our small local Walmart is a test case, soon at a store, (and not only grocery stores near you) fully automated checkouts.

THE IMPEACHMENT TRIAL
Chief Justice Roberts would not be presiding over the impeachment trial. The reason given is that it is not an impeachment of a president, instead Democrat senator Patrick Leahy, who stated that he will not be partisan will preside.
President Biden said that there is not enough votes in the senate to impeach former president Trump. Why then, are we pursuing an impeachment trial, taking some if the oxygen from the Biden administration?

POLITICS ABOVE THE PEOPLE!!
Amazon have the capability of getting the vaccine into people arms, but did not offer its services to the prior administration, when we had a record amount of deaths in December. They are now offering their services to the Biden administration.
Over 77,000 people lost their lives in December. You hear me 77,000 people, and you had the capability, but said nothing until Biden took office.
Amazon has not issued a reasonable explanation for their delay, and if one is issued, I will retract, but as it stands THIS STINKS!!!!!

CONGRATS PRES. BIDEN AND VP HARRIS.
I pray for your success, your success is my success, the people's success, and I ask God to guide you into making the right decisions for the country.
As we sat glued to our TV and watched in horror at the assault on our democracy, we can only hope to never witness another event such as that again.
Today gives rise to a new day and a new administration, yours. A history making administration, with the first Black, Asian and woman VP, already it feels like fresh oxygen in the air, but I guess that is with every new administration.
Today is your first full day in office, and the day you start putting your stamp on this country, moving it in the direction you envisioned.
Mr Pres, God did not make us perfect, nor did he make us totally imperfect. I believe that there were some good policies in the former administration, and caution not to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Policies like USMCA, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, the policy that replaced NAFTA that saw businesses leave the US for cheaper labor in Mexico, all three countries stated that USMCA is profitable to their countries and their workers.
MIDDLE EAST: There is a chance for Middle East peace, a peace between Israel and Arab countries. By isolating Iran, so it's proxy war in other Arabic countries has slowed, the former administration freed up other Arabic countries to make peace with Israel.
So far they got four countries to make peace with more to come, a feat that for 72 years presidents have been unsuccessful, except two presidents, one country each. So I ask think twice before entering the old agreement with Iran.
IMMIGRATION: The caravan has started, and they listened to you say that any illegal immigrants in your first hundred days will be given permanent status. With Covid-19, Guatemala and Mexico have to deal with the stragglers that did not make it to the border, some unaccompanied minors get caught in child s*x traffic rings and adults using unrelated children to get through the border. I am not saying to stop migration, but find a policy that eliminate the horror that some migrants have to go through.
CHINA: Most people knew that China was stealing from us, but did not know the extent until the former administration, so I ask that you keep the pressure on China, not just for us but for the world. Let us remember that the Cold War was about ideology and it still is. China is first using its vast wealth to loan money to underdeveloped countries, then using those governments as puppets, knowing that they will be unable to pay the monies back, then force its ideology unto these countries.
There is more, but I will end with this. Why end the keystone pipeline that help makes us energy efficient, when our allies are building their own pipelines, for instance Germany is building a pipeline from Russia to Germany.
Again congratulations Mr President, God-speed.

ELON MUSK AND THE STARSHIP
Mars, the new frontier, to boldly go where no man has gone before. The genius of Elon Musk and his new creation with his SpaceX Co, Starship has stepped out of the dream and have become a reality.
With a target date 2024, Starship will blast off and orbit the earth, rocket boosters will return, a refueling rocket will be sent to the Ship, refuel while in orbit, and its onto Mars.
Can he do it? Those that follow him knows better than to bet against him. Willing to bet a great deal of his vast wealth to the colonization of Mars, Mr Musk has made many of his dreams a reality. If anyone could do it, there is no one more capable than Elon Musk.

SEN CRUZ AND HAWLEY DOMESTIC TERRORIST??
In 2005, California senator Barbara Boxer and Rep Stephanie Tubbs Jones in congress forced a delay in the electoral count of George Bush election victory. The protest was in connection to Ohio voting problems, the state that gave George Bush his victory.
The constitution provides for arguments during the count to air grievances. Boxer and Jones was allowed to voice their arguments and the count proceeded.
Boxer and Jones believed that the state of Ohio had voting irregularities, eventhough it might not be enough to overturn the election. So why is Cruz and Hawley called by Gov't officials domestic terrorists and should be put on the no fly list? Boxer and Jones weren't called domestic terrorists for exercising their constitutional right.

ARE WE GOING TO FAR?
Do we seriously think the president will launch a nuclear strike? If so, against who? Do we really want to cheapen the impeachment process by impeaching the president one week before leaving office? We have always fought undesired speech with more speech, is the solution now censorship?
This exercise in futility is geared to embarrass the president today, and he will leave, but there are over eighty million people leaving with him. If the Republicans wins the house in two years, would it be ok, since we have lowered the bar to impeach Joe Biden with his connection to Hunter and Jim Biden?
Trump crossed the line with his speech, and he should leave office without fanfare, but all this nuclear and impeachment bs, is not embarrassing him, but angering eighty million people. LEADERS USE A WATER HOSE IN FLAREUPS, NOT LIGHTER FUEL. So look past your hate for one person and concentrate on your love for country.

OUR DEMOCRACY WAS ATTACKED YESTERDAY!
That beacon of hope for so many people in other countries living under tyrannical government rule, saw that beacon dimmed yesterday as rioters stormed the capitol.
They saw the president of the United States giving his supporters false hope, by lying to them about the duty of congress as it pertains to the election
His own Vice President have said that the congress is powerless constitutionally to change the will of the people, yet the president continue to voice this lie, while speaking to his supporters encouraging his VP to break the law.
In two weeks this president will leave office, and that is the essence of our democracy as oppose to others, that every four years, we could change and correct the path of our country.

TRUMP, IF THE REPUBLICANS LOSE THE SENATE.
If the democrats win the senate, it will free up more republicans to turn their backs on Trump. They could not go against him as president, but they could blame his uncontrollable tweeting about a rigged election among other things for their lost.
Republicans will slowly put him out to pasture, and turn their support to other candidates for 2024.

TOTAL CONTROL IS NOT ALL IT IS CRACKED UP TO BE!
Georgia: The two senate races in Georgia could give Joe Biden and the democrats total control of government, this might not be as good as it seems. There is no one to blame, which is the usual go to for any politician.
We don't have to look to far into the past to see the effect of total control. In former president Obama first two years in office, he had a democratic house and senate. Obama came into a financial crisis, and implemented a number of good policies including reform of financial regulations, universal health care and brought the financial system back from collapsing.
In 2010, just two years later and even with his popularity, Obama and the democrats lost six senate seats, over sixty house seats, the most since 1938, and ten governorships, a serious correction.
Biden is in a tug-of-war between the socialist and moderates of his party. This could cause him to institute policies that he does not totally agree with, to keep the party together, and with no one to blame, move the independents to the right. This would be more devastating than Obama, both democrat house and senate would be with a thin democrat margin, and the midterm could leave Biden with a republican house and senate which might make him a lame duck.

PRIVATE SECURITY FORCE?
A group of community leaders are calling for a private security force to supplement the Atlanta police force.
Police officers are disrespected, included in that disrespect are the good police officers that put their lives on the line everyday to protect the people. The call to defund the police has hit deep in police departments and many are retiring.
Some community leaders are from low income areas where they are seeing a huge spike in crime. The call for private security will bring a slew of lawsuits, once these private securities get in difficult situations.
Police has been facing a rush to judgement from their leaders, the tasing of a teenager lead to the firing of officers the next day without following the normal procedures, and the death of an eight year old girl, officers felt that if they were allowed to do their job, her life might have been saved. This lead to the increase retirement of many officers.
