Expedición Pumptrack

Un día más con Perropro, de expedición..ahora por la montaña con Toti , Blin y Chano.
En este largo viaje viviremos cosas como, patinaje salvaje sobre rocas de granito, surcaremos las olas de asfalto de un pumptrack con nuestras tablas, tendremos serios problemas con el coche, falta de alimentos.. sin duda estrepitosas dificultades también, pero al final todo sale bien, y consiguen llegar a tiempo a su entrevista con Telemadrid en el Parque del Retiro.

Un día más con Perropro, de expedición..ahora por la montaña con Toti , Blin y Chano. En este largo viaje viviremos cosas como, patinaje salvaje sobre rocas ...

The Loaded Tarab is designed to push the boundaries of modern longboard dancing. We launched our first Dancer in 2008, followed by the Bhangra in 2010. The Tarab builds on that history. Lightweight, durable and technical, the Tarab is intended to further the level of longboard dancing and modern freestyle.

Tarab {noun}: An Arabic term used to describe the ecstatic feelings and spiritual experiences associated with listening to and playing music.

The naming of the Loaded Tarab was inspired by Loaded Ambassador Lotfi Lamaali’s Moroccan culture, love of music, and unique longboard dancing style.

The Story:
After ages of wandering through the endless sand dunes of the Sahara Desert, Lotfi Lamaali is rescued by two nomadic travelers of unknown origins who believe him to be their chosen one.

When Lotfi finally wakes, he is bestowed the nomads' most prized possession, The Tarab.

Unsure of himself, Lotfi takes his first step on this foreign vessel only to reveal that he is indeed the one they have been looking for all along.

After seeing his skills, one of the nomads joins Lotfi on his newfound journey. Together, they begin to discover the Tarab's true potential, as well as their own.

The Reality:
Loaded Ambassadors Jongbin Jo (South Korea) and LoTfi Lamaali - WoodWalker (France) were sent to Morocco with filmmaker Alberto "Perropro" Alepuz and photographer Christian Rosillo to capture the beauty and culture of Lotfi's Moroccan heritage.

With their guide Yassine Boundouq ( Morocco), they traveled from Casablanca to Merrakesh, then to Ouarzazate, and ending at Merzouga, the Gates of the Sahara. Driving to each destination took them slowly through the country side, where a land that remains untouched by the civilized world still survives.

this video celebrates the birth of the Icarus, i am very happy i got to film the real OG´s from our sport, Adam&Adam!!!
I am very very happy with this one, it seems like our community has forgotten what made this kind of skateboarding so popular, our roots, i think is important to keep those first feeling we had the first time we stepped on a longer skateboard, because at the end of the day, just cruising and pumping around is what keeps me skating every day, even if my knee is all broken now.
Technical tricks and gnarly runs are fun, but this kind of skating is not only about that, and i feel like a lot of people are forgetting about it. DO YOU AGREE?

Enlisting the magical touch of cinematographer Alberto Perropro Alepuz, we set out to capture and share the experience of riding the Icarus that brings us so many smiles. Loaded pioneered the flexible dropthru board with the Dervish in 2007 and the Tan Tien in 2012. We’ve returned to our carving roots using many of the things learned over the past few years from our freeride boards, downhill boards, and our snowboard (with design cues from bacon). Combining wheel flares, cork, a balanced flex pattern and novel manufacturing methods, the Icarus is a milestone in our exploration of the soulful carving experience.

Powerful Flex—Vertically laminated bamboo and fiberglass construction pair with a cambered profile and a variable concave for a lively and engaging ride. The cork bottom helps dampen out vibrations without compromising the liveliness.

User Friendly—Drop-through truck mounting positions the deck lower to the ground for easier, more efficient pushing and enhanced stability. Light weight and compact size make the Icarus intuitive and commuter friendly.

Shapely Curves—The right curves in the right places enhance rider ergonomics while contributing to a responsive and high-performance ride. Wheel well flares accommodate big wheels and improve turning leverage and control. Variable concave yields a consistent flex pattern while providing a variety of riding experiences based on foot placement.

Practical Kicks—Minimal nose and tail kicks help navigate city streets and open the door for freestyle trickery.
