We create a new playground with imagination

MAPP_TOKYO was held at SHIBUYA CAST in Tokyo in March 2024 ✨ 🇯🇵

Melissa Mathieson and Marc-Olivier Lamothe , who travelled from Montreal, collaborated with Japanese artist Keeenue to create a colourful live painting projection on the streets of Tokyo.

We are deeply grateful to the TOKYU team for making this event possible at such a fantastic location in the heart of Tokyo, and for ensuring everything ran smoothly. A huge thank you to the Délégation générale du Québec à Tokyo ケベック州政府在日事務所 for your unwavering support 🙌✨

It was incredibly inspiring to see artists from Montreal and Japan working together in the centre of Tokyo. We hope to continue hosting more activities to serve as a bridge between the two cities.

【百年後芸術祭】
百年後芸術祭は、千葉県を舞台とした百年後を考える誰もが参加できる芸術祭。

私たちは、地元の方々が制作したアニメーションを千葉県立現代産業科学館とコルトンモールセンターに投影しました。
参加してくださった皆様、そしてイベントをサポートしてくださったすべての関係者の皆様、楽しい時間をありがとうございました！

Hyakunengo Art Festival is an art festival in Chiba Prefecture that anyone can participate in thinking about the future 100 years from now.

We projected the animations created by the community contributors at both the Chiba Prefectural Museum of Modern Industry and Science and the Colton Plaza in Ichikawa during "Hyakunengo Art Festival”.

To everyone who participated and to all the staff who supported the event, thank you very much! we had so much fun :)

日本工業大学の小林研究室の学生たちとともに、子供たちが描いたアニメーションを宮代町を歩きながら投影しました。小林先生と学生の皆さんには、このプロジェクトを実現していただき心から感謝しております。
すてきな機会をありがとうございました！

Collaborating with students from Kobayashi Laboratory at the Nippon Institute of Technology, we projected animations created by children onto Miyashiro Town. A heartfelt thanks to Professor Kobayashi and all the students for making this project a reality. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity :)
