Wakefield Brewster recorded the audio edition here at Snowdog Audio! Amazing to listen to his poetry

Last of the spring book reveals, but certainly not the least!

Wakefield Brewster's WakeWord releases this April through Frontenac House. Brewster has spent the last two years as the poet laureate of Calgary--a spoken word artists and performer who uses poetry to highlight important social issues in and beyond. His debut collection of poetry deftly captures his voice for this capstone to his time as poet laureate, already earning praise from other local authors such as Uche Peter Umez:
