The devil will always tempt you to believe that you are alone in the fight, that you have no backup and no protection. That is the biggest lie he uses so he can isolate and capture you with fear.

Do not drink the Kool-Aid.

You have the whole host of Heaven at your disposal 24/7, and you have additional backup: the Holy Spirit, the promises of God's word, and the Church ( your brothers and sisters in Christ).

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God

If I'm honest, I've never really known what it means when it says "prayer and supplication". Isn't that the same thing?

The Lord brought this scripture to my spirit so I looked into it. What it means by prayer is to live a life of prayer. Every day you're talking with Jesus. You're bringing EVERYTHING to him, big, little, insignificant, life changing, and so on.

Supplication though is when you bring a specific, need to Him. You're taking time to specifically and directly bring something to God that you need Him to fix like yesterday if you know what I'm talking bout.

The key here though is, as you're conversing with God throughout the day, and bringing specific needs to Him, you gotta do it with thanksgiving. Without an attitude of thanksgiving, your prayers could easily turn into simply complaining about what's wrong instead of thanking Him for what He's already done in your life and what He's going to do next.

Thank you Lord for this new understanding. Help us to remember this scripture every time we come to you in prayer. In Jesus name amen 🙏 🙌

That's what it means to be born again. If you've ever had a struggle, sin, or hang up that you feel you were "born with" or "born that way", I have good news for you. All you need to do is be born again and God will make everything brand new!

This includes your old identity, old life of sin, the power of satan, the religious works of trying to please God, your old relationship with the world, your old mindsets. You will not be merely reformed or referbished, you will be made COMPLETELY NEW by your union with Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Will you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Just ask Him. He's ready. Are you?

Psalm 4:8 "I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety."

A better translation would be, "I will both and AT ONCE lie down in peace, and sleep" David went to his bed and at once he was a sleep because he knew God had him in complete safety with nothing to fear or be anxious about.

As you lay down tonight pray Ps 4:8 out loud and watch your mind slow down, and peace replace the endless thoughts...and sleep

Wow. I never knew humility comes by way of fasting. 2 Chronicles 7:14 could be read this way "If my people, who are called by my name will fast (humble themselves) and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

Fasting (humbling ourselves) is what gives us the strength to live righteously and say no to our flesh and the devil.
