India Brags Over Rafale/ warns China n Pakistan

5 new Rafale Fighter Jets from France have reached India midst the ongoing tension between China and India at their long border area.

The Rafale will be stationed at Hasimara Air Base. As they arrived, Defence Minister Rajnath gave a twitter warning to both China and Pakistan, saying, "I would like to add, if it is anyone who should be worried about or critical about this new capability of the Indian Air Force, it should be those who want to threaten our territorial integrity."

Reports are that at least three Iranian missiles landed near the Al Dhafra airbase in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) earlier in the day, on July 28 where the Rafale jets were stationed.

China's 5th generation Chengdu J-20 jets. Chinese experts claim that J-20s are ahead of everyone in competition including much-hyped Rafale jets.

Will Egypt Fight Turkey in Libya

Egyptian Pres. al-Sisi said his country can make a decisive military move in neighboring Libya should its security come under threat.

Egypt will not stand idle in the face of threats to its security or the security of Libya, Sisi said, “Egypt is able to change the military situation quickly and decisively if it wants”

Egypt, Russia and the United Arab Emirates are supporting Haftar and his army with weapons, finance and military know-how against Tripoli's Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA)

A group of Libyan tribal leaders visited Cairo to meet al-Sisi to shore up legitimacy for a potential Egyptian intervention in Libya

Cairo is also attempting to bring together elements of the Qaddafi regime who still enjoy an important tribal, political and military influence

Jordan's Confused Statements on Annexation

At a time of extreme anxiety of the Palestinians, Jordan instead of being clear that it will not allow the Annexation, went on saying mixed things last week:

Jordan’s Prime Minister Omar Razzaz has said that the Hashemite Kingdom would view a one-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict “positively” if Israel goes ahead with its annexation plans in the West Bank.

Speaking to the British news outlet The Guardian, Razzaz said that annexation would doom the two-state solution.
“You close the door to the two-state solution, I could very well look at this positively if we’re clearly opening the door to a one-state democratic solution,” Razzaz told The Guardian in an interview published today.

Razzaz said forgoing the two-state solution would push the region toward “chaos,” however, and also said that annexation would create an “apartheid state” — referring to the race-based segregation South Africa had in the 20th century.

Israelis and Palestinians Protesting Against Annexation

Thousands of Palestinians and Israelis have been protesting in Israel, since last month, against Israel's plan to extend sovereignty over parts of the West Bank. The protesters carried banners reading "No to annexation, no to occupation, yes to peace and democracy" and Palestinian flags.

Last month, over a hundred jurists and law scholars from around the world, including scores from Israel, have said Israel’s plans to annex the occupied West Bank would “constitute a flagrant violation of bedrock rules of international law, and would also pose a serious threat to international stability in a volatile region.”

Israeli annexation of parts of the West Bank would also “entail consequences of international wrongfulness, and – under certain circumstances – lead to individual international criminal liability,” a letter signed by the legal professionals said.
