Wow! We are floored...

Travis here. Just a few weeks ago after getting YouTube channel to 1,000 subscribers we went and blew past 10,000, so I just let it ride! Now we're looking forward to our next milestone of 20,000 subscribers. I wanted to give a few thoughts...

1. The grind to 1,000 subs was brutal.
2. Once we got the types of content dialed in for the channel's niche the gains were exponential.
3. It takes showing up consistently and trying your best (Emphasis on "consistently").

I met this man on a street corner in Philly. After talking with him, I asserted that he may be a drug dealer when I saw an exchange with another man in front of my eyes. Unwavering, I continued my conversation with the man. On the street corner that day we made sure he was going to heaven. In that moment he prayed for Jesus Christ to forgive him of his sins.

We pass by many people every single day. Sometimes we assume they are too busy or don't want to hear the Gospel. You would be surprised. Many people think about God but don't know how simple it is to have a relationship with Him. Maybe they don't feel worthy.

My challenge to you today is this, be a light in a dark place. You don't know what freedom a simple conversation can open up.

Take a chance.

When I was invited to film on the streets of Philly I had heard it was dangerous. There is a funny story from my first trip to Philly... I decided it was a good idea to take the train into the inner city.

Suitcase in hand, I felt the eyes of everyone upon me. I was in "the hood" and I looked like fresh meat to these drug dealers and addicts. My heart was beating so fast. I came down the stairs of the train station to see my friends waiting for me!

That trip changed my life. I saw God do miraculous things and came away with a newfound compassion for hurting humanity. We put together an amazing video, and it is a story I tell to this day.

I'm not saying to put yourself in an unwise position, but rather have the courage to go where most won't. You may find that risk ends up being worth so much more, as you realize you are more capable than you thought you were.

I recently discovered Five Below with my girlfriend. There is so much cool stuff there! I found a cool Pokemon mask and decided to strike a pose in the store.

Did I look crazy? Probably! Did my girlfriend laugh? Yes!

Maybe you're into something that is kinda niche, or weird. Chances are you are not alone. You may find there are people like you if you post the things you genuinely enjoy or the things you enjoy. Post some stuff like that.

Work smart!

I saw this beautiful John Deere tractor at the Houston Rodeo and had to snap a picture. I lived out in the country for 10 years of my life and learned to appreciate a strong work ethic. Though I never drove a tractor, I learned that behind every one of these machines was a man working on a big task.

In the same way, what you're doing may seem huge, even intimidating. You may need to bring in "the big guns" for a project you are passionate about doing right. You need a combination of the right tools and experience from someone who has done the job before.

Big day! We've been working with since December and knew she had some amazing content. It just needed to get in the right format.

After seeing some results on my account from repurposing her long-form into short-form content I knew that was the key to getting more views and engagement. Now that she has passed the 1,000-mile mark we are excited for what is to come.

Debra George was a ton of amazing content and it's definitely worth a sub.
