Here’s a little bit of information from them as to why we are raising money!
We have some very exciting news to share with our family and friends, both near and far. Most of you already know that we’ve been preparing to grow our family and that we’ve tried to, in many different ways.
Here we are now, just four years later with the best news we could imagine-
WE HAVE OFFICIALLY RECEIVED A PLACEMENT FOR ADOPTION!!!
As we have already started to prepare, we still have a ways to go before we feel the job is done. We’re creating wish lists, purging our home of no longer needed items, rearranging and setting up the spare room for our DAUGHTER, yes... I said daughter! As of February 2021, we will officially be the parents of a beautiful, sweet little 6 year old girl.
We’re beyond excited, anxious, stoked and overwhelmed with emotion. We bring this news to the world with positive hopes that not only our transition into parent hood, but our daughters transition into our family will be as welcoming as one child, could only hope.
We look forward to sharing our story more as we become the little family we’ve been searching for and dreaming of, for quite some time.
In the mean time, we have a running list of things to purchase and invest in.
We’re so grateful and forever thankful to have a very dear friend of ours who has set up a place to contribute to our process- this is for friends, family and anyone who would like to help us get off on the right foot and also provide a positive impact on the arrival of our daughter.
