First slabbed copy of The New Remarkables #1, featuring the first appearances of The Night Demon, Max Champion, and Impetus. 9.6 signed by cover artist Jason Metcalf.

Also a 9.8 Team SupremUS : Clash of the Champions #0 Indieverse Virgin variant with cover art by Aditya Rachdian and Gabriel Roldan. Also signed by Jason Metcalf. On the wall they go. I’m honored to have published these two books, as well as the art teams involved. Absolute pros all of them. Witnessed signature series.

So with today’s sales, for only the second time ever, I met table with pure comic sales. For the first time EVER, I exceeded table, so I’m proud to announce that Washington State Summer Con was a smashing success and return to comic conventions for me. 2 hours remain, then I’m going out tonight with a group of artist friends and we’ll celebrate! I’m indebted to Jason Metcalf for playing a major part in the success, since the majority of my sales were based off his The New Remarkables #1 cover variant. 85% we’re that variant, with the remaining 15% being various Team SupremUS, the Remarkables ASM 129 homage, and Pandora’s Army preview. I’m down to three standard Metcalf covers, and one Metcalftallic cover. I brought three, and two sold for $50 each. Maybe I’ll sell the rest in two hours and it’ll be a sell out? Ok, I’m not going to get greedy. I’m eternally grateful for such a great return to conventions, and for the evergreen success of new Remarkables. “Hey! When’s that issue #2 gonna come out?!” Soon. LOL Leandro Sandoval, Gabriel Roldan, and Francisco Zamora are working on it!

Even if I don’t sell as single book the rest of this show, to have a young kid go up to his dad with a copy of The New Remarkables #1 in hand, and say “hey, dad, how cool is this?” His dad comes up, ask what it’s about, and if it’s truly “remarkable”. I say yes, and the kid buys the book with his OWN MONEY. I sign it, and he’s got the biggest smile on his face, while telling me The Night Demon looks so cool (I have an open copy on the table turned to his first appearance). It’s always Demon, isn’t it? But I live for those reactions. Now he’s off to have Jason Metcalf sign it. My day as a creator is made. Regardless of outcome.

This my wonderful friends and fam, is my EVERGREEN. Not only has it been my highest grossing project, but it also was the first to get me into comic shops worldwide. Interestingly enough, I created the book to try and stem the tide of flagging sales and interest in my previous books, and it was a home run in intent and ex*****on. Without The New Remarkables, I’m probably out of the business? Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your continued support, and for continuing to elevate Agent Aja Marley’s crazy team of mishmash heroes!

This brought tears to my eyes! The two latest and final pages of The New Remarkables preview that will launch our Kickstarter for the long awaited issue #2!

I know many of you have been wondering what happened with this book? Well, its well documented the personal tragedy I suffered earlier last year, and we’re now over a year behind in completing production, but the gears are in motion once again, witness the spectacular art by series artist Leandro Sandoval! The intergalactic trial of Barabbas the scourge is interrupted by General Ran’Kor, and as any of you fans know, whenever Ran’Kor is involved, it’s not a positive.
