Their protest was also intended to appeal to the county authority and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to allow witch-hunter Tamba Bundo resume his operations of cleaning the Picnicess Community from ritualistic activities.

Receiving the petition, Grand Kru County Superintendent, Madam Doris Ylatun expressed her empathy over the unexplained Deaths in Picnicess and at the same time ugred them to remain calm as more consultation will be done with the Grand Kru County Legislative Caucus and the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Justice to probe into the situation the community are faced with.

"The last time you brought your cries to the county authority, we listened to you, based upon the quick response from the county authority, herbalist Tamba Bundo was invited to Picnicess Community .... so be patient Tamba will work, so please give us time to address your problem," Superintendent Ylatun said.

However, some women of picnicess were seen at the Administrative Building cooking for the protestors and as the same time spread their mattresses at the front view of building to rest to demand the return of witch-hunter Tamba Bundo whose works were halted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In an exclusive interview with Radio Ahteenah in Barclayville, another group of citizens, through Elder Ezekiel Wisseh has vow not to participate in the upcoming midterm senatorial elections if the government failed to allow witch-hunter Tamba Bundo to continue to clean-up Picnicess Community from mysterious disappearence.

Also speaking, Felicia Swen explained that they are living in the community with fear, ttheir lives are in danger, and they are suffering, and want government intervention.

"We are tire of this witchcraft activities, so today we come with our children, husbands and our beda and cooking materials; and we will not leave until the superintendent give order for Tamba to work", she explained.

Students writing WASSCE Play a Peace Building Football Match

The proverb 'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy' was recreated on Sunday when students from six high schools, writing the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) played among themselves.

The six high schools included, Barclayville Central High, P. G. Wollor High, JJ Dickson United Methodist School, Sasstown High, Samford Dennis and Garraway High Schools.

The cream of players from Barclayville Central High, JJ Dickson, and P. G. Wollor, formed one team, known as the Barclayville Boys; while best players from Sasstown High, Samford Dennis and Garraway formed the second team, known as the Rural Boys.

The Braclayville boys convincingly whipped the Rural Boys 3-1, in a match described as entertaining.

Sunday's match among the students was an enraptured moment among citizens of Grand Kru for the first time since the county captured the football tournament in the National County Sports Meet and the banning of football actives over the infection of Coronavirus in March.

The one day's football game was played at the Barclayville Sports Pitch and spanned throughout the day; witnessed by over 2,000 including the county leadership, instructors, examiners (plotters) and the students community.

Speaking to Radio Ahteenah on Sunday, Emmanuel Sarplah, the chief organizer, said the football match was also about the uniting students as they climax WASSCE on Wednesday.

Grand Kru County Legislative Caucus Supports Witch Doctor Tamba to Cleanse Picnicess from Mysterious Killing

(Grand Kru County ) Grand Kru Senator Peter Coleman has broken silence into the 'witch doctor' saga in Picnicess by stressing that the Grand Kru County Legislative Caucus supports traditional herbalist Tamba Bundo to cleanse that part of the county to stop the mysterious and unexplained killings.

It may be recalled at least 40 persons have died mysteriously in Picnicess over the years, with the recent death been a Catholic Catechist, who was murdered.

Speaking to Grandcess radio news recently, Senator Coleman said the Grand Kru County Legislative Caucus acknowledged the good work of the traditional herbalist and the Caucus would be glad for Tamba to resume and complete his cleansing exercises in the county without fear and favor.

Senator Coleman noted that Tamba Bundo will be giving a strong support by Grand kru county legislative caucus by providing effective security measures to execute his tasks.

Honorable Coleman statement comes in the wake of information that the Grand Kru County caucus has no interest in the traditional herbalist Tamba Bundo after been stopped by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, to perform traditional activities to bring relief to the land of Picnicess in Grand Kru County.

The Grand Kru legislative caucus chairman further said, a delegation of national traditional council, led by the former traditional Chief of Grand Kru, Swen Wleh will be coming to county in an effort to guide the traditional ordeal in Picnicess with herbalist Tamba Bundo.

The Senator however maintained that, at no time the caucus stop the ordeal as it is been alleged in the county.

Grand Kru County former chief, Swen Wleh, is expected in the county with a high-power delegation of the national traditional council of Liberia to the county in a bid to guide the process of the traditional ordeal currently under-way in Picnicess Chanakaleh, a source closed to the council has indicated.

Senator Coleman is asking the people of Picnicess to remain calm as all will be done to ensure that peace prevails in the fishing community.

Peer Educator encourages Parents to allow children take family planning
--- Wants Boy, Girls to Religiously use Condoms to avoid Unwanted Pregnancies, Diseases

(Grand Kru County): As many teenagers (below 18 years old) are involved into early s*x which mostly lead to unwanted pregnancy and then become young babies' mothers, a trained Peer Educator, Ms. Sandra Nimely has called on parents to support their children to visit health centers to take family planning (contraceptive pills) in order to stop them from getting pregnant at early ages.

Ms. Nimely said 'family planning' helps one to determine freely the number, the spacing of their children and the choice to have child or not.

She said it is very important to take 'family planning' most especially for young girls who are engaged into 'man and woman business' --- arguing that it helps to brighten one future, in order for them to achieve their goals.

The peer educator disclosed that the family planning is always available at the Health facility and it is free to all citizens.

"There are many family planning methods which prevent you from getting pregnant, the birth control pills, using of condoms, three months contraceptive among others," Ms. Nimely stated.

She at the same time expressed her frustration over children who have not reached the age of reproducing babies today are seen with babies which she said caused embarrassment for the parents.

"This will bring hardship to the parents, parents supporting the home and at the same time supporting you and your child". She made the disclosure on August 26, 2020 when she appeared on Radio Ahteenah regular radio Talk show "Women and Girls Talk."

She added: "The idea of parents stopping their children from taking family planning are the reasons for their early pregnancy, taking the family planning won't cause damage to the child in the future if she decides to be a baby mother as some parents believed."

She further encouraged both boys and girls to always used the condoms to prevent them from diseases and other sickness like Sexual Transmitted Infections (STI) AIDs and etc.

"Taking the family planning is preventing you from getting pregnant but not protecting you from getting these sicknesses and diseases, so while having s*x tell your partner to use the condom to prevent the both of you".
