Ear to Ear Podcast a podcast hosted by Marc Goodwin, to fill the minds and widen the smiles of fellow Christians

I've decided to indefinitely pause on the podcasting front. I enjoy doing it, but find that it (rightfully, I believe) doesn't rise to the surface of the responsibilities and opportunities that God has set before me in this current season. This isn't to say I won't try it again ever, but for now, I think this is best.

Keep smiling.

Though it's a "down time" of year in the annual sports calendar, this actually serves as a great time to evaluate the role that sports play in our lives, and how we ought to engage in them. Listen in as Marc shares about God's gift of sports--the joys and temptations that come with them. Give it a listen, and share with a friend!

We all dream, yet we rarely talk about our dreams with each other. Some dismiss dreams as insignificant, and others receive them as direct revelations from God. So what are we supposed to do with dreams? Why did God make us as dreaming creatures?

Click the link above to listen to Marc share about this intriguing topic.

What are your dreams like?

This week, a new episode will be released about dreams. Dreams are obviously a common part of human experience, yet we rarely talk about them, or pause to consider what we are to *do* with them as Christians.

I'd love to hear what your dreams are like...
-Do you dream often?
-How vivid and memorable are your dreams?
-Which is more common--"sweet dreams" or "nightmares"?

Episode 5 is now available! It's on the subject of funerals, of all things.

Solomon once wrote: "It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting...by sadness of face the heart is made glad." -Ecclesiastes 7

How could he possibly mean that? Listen in to find out how even funerals can widen our smiles as believers (without preventing our tears).

"It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house of feasting...by sadness of face the heart is made glad." -Ecclesiastes 7:2a, 3b  How can this possibly be true?! Only because of the gospel. In this episode, Marc shares about how funerals can teach us about: the person who d...

“It’s good laugh with friends, but it’s also good to reverently laugh with God at his astonishing, surprising, wonderful, awesome Gospel promises and grace. As Abraham showed, we can be flat on our faces while filled with holy laughter. He wasn’t laughing his head off, but was laughing his heart out.”
