"How dare you!" Greta, AOC and the green lobby are always portrayed by the media as compassionate and moral.
As Human Rights Watch (HRW) demonstrates, despite some improvements, there are still many thousands of African children mining cobalt, coltan and lithium for car batteries and solar panels. HRW says cobalt mines in Congo (photo) are a tragedy and arguably the worst working conditions known to man.
There are numerous videos of African children toiling under the blazing sun, covered in toxic dust with their hands bleeding.
HRW describes child labor mining operations as an "ugly truth" about the green energy industry, but prominent liberal organizations and the Progressive Caucus ignores it.
There are also many blatant "green energy" mining abuses in communist China, where over one million people are in concentration camps.
Some estimates claim it takes 500 tons of coal in China to produce enough lithium to power one electric vehicle.
