The Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Strategy and Mobilisation, Hon. (Barr.) Olusegun Ajimotokin, has commended the Chairman of the House Committee on Population and Member representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency, Omo'ba Okunjimi Odimayo, for his exceptional legislative performance and dedication to constituency development.
Speaking to newsmen during an empowerment programme in Ode Irele last weekend by the lawmaker, Ajimotokin described Odimayo’s initiatives as a benchmark for impactful representation. “Odimayo has raised the bar for outstanding legislative performance, setting a new standard for others to emulate,” he stated.
"At the event, Odimayo empowered constituents with 32 motorcycles, 3 tricycles, and financial grants of ₦100,000 each to 290 bead-making trainees. He also distributed rice to thousands of families, demonstrating his commitment to poverty alleviation".
"Additionally, the lawmaker launched several critical projects, including a 5km road spanning Okitipupa and Irele local government areas, a greenhouse farm, and the installation of 510 solar-powered streetlights. Streets such as Mobareredele, Obolo/Jolaolu, and Araromi Road are among those to benefit from the streetlights. Key infrastructural projects commissioned include a solar-powered medical laboratory in Ode Irele, modern classrooms at Arerin Grammar School, and a solar-powered borehole project at Liseri Camp to provide clean water. Furthermore, Odimayo facilitated 10 federal jobs for constituents, reinforcing his commitment to socio-economic development".
The former council chairman urged Odimayo to sustain his exceptional legislative service, prioritising the yearnings and aspirations of the people, while praying for God’s guidance in his endeavours as a custodian of public trust and mandate.
He also encouraged constituents to continue supporting Odimayo’s transformative leadership, highlighting his unwavering dedication to fulfilling campaign promises.
