well today I got my car serviced and right after I left the dealership, my tire popped off 🙃
so here’s an appreciation post for the good that happened today:
🥪 got lunch with the fiancé at the sandwich factory in Lakeland
🎃 snuggled with Ember in our Mickey pumpkin blanket
🧋 got a strawberry açaí lemonade from Starbucks
🐱 Ginger was upset that I put her flea prevention on her

Ariadne is a beautiful, emotional story about girlhood. Definitely recommend if you like reading about the women of Greek mythology!
While I personally didn’t feel super connected to the characters, Saint’s storytelling is gorgeous. It’s seriously such a good read y’all!

met some friends at this weekend including THE Jodi Benson 🤩🤩
HAPPY MAGIC MONDAY!! I hope you had a great weekend! I know I did 🥰 Noah and I went to megacon this weekend with a few friends and we had a blast!! This was my first con and I definitely want to go again!! There’s SO much and it can definitely be overwhelming though.
1st pic: they literally had a mandolorian camp with all kinds of cosplayers. best thing there tbh 10/10
2nd pic: ME AND JODI BENSON AHHHH I had the little mermaid on repeat growing up so this was a huge moment for me. She’s so sweet and I love her
3rd pic: me with a Taylor-sized droid (jk I was actually taller than it) it did the scream that I love and I almost cried. my favorite Star Wars characters are the droids
and this was just a FEW things!! I have so much more to share with you all including the booth and a little haul

I wanted to talk a little about choosing happiness. these past few weeks I have been in such a slump. I haven’t had the desire to go get content. I’ve been stressed and unmotivated at work. I haven’t had any desire to read. I’ve played a few games to keep my mind from spiraling too much. And when I don’t do these things, I can’t help but think I’m a failure or not good enough because I’m not doing something with my time.
So if you struggle with these same feelings and thoughts, just know that it’s okay to take breaks. It’s okay to be unproductive. Find the things that make you happy at the time and don’t force yourself to do something that doesn’t.

happy Friday!! and happy st patty’s day!
for this weeks festival Friday I wanted to share the tres leches and tropical breeze from la isla fresca
starting with the tres leches - 10/10
she’s not too sweet and not too liquidy. it’s like goldilocks finding the porridge that’s just right. definitely recommend getting this if you’re heading to flower and garden!
the tropical breeze is also pretty good. I’d give it a 7/10 because I think it needs a little more flavor. you can get this with rum or non-alcoholic!!
overall, flower and garden has been AMAZING this year and I can’t wait to share more with you!

I LOVED the beet hummus and the classic hummus but I have to say the avocado one was not up to par. and for that I have to give it a 7/10. my tastebuds also said no to the baked chips. pita bread though? 10/10 we love pita
the beet hummus is a little sweet so if you don’t like sweeter hummus then that one may not be for you

here’s some monday magic for you (aka story time)
last weekend I celebrated my 21st at epcot and hollywood studios! well, after leaving oga’s cantina, we decided to get in line to take some photopass photos by the millenium falcon
best decision we made all day! when we got to the cast member, my mom made a joke about us not having any lightsabers since EVERYONE in line had at least one. the family in front of us then made some magic happen! they were kind enough to let us borrow theirs to take some amazing photos and definitely made my bestie’s day!!
so, not all magic is made by cast members! I met so many kind people last weekend that helped make my birthday magical 💛

this past weekend I stayed at pop century and it was a blast!! definitely want to go back soon and take more pics 🥰
pop century is honestly one of my favorite resorts. there’s skyliner access to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT and it’s a reasonable price! plus, you get cute icons like this 🌼
