We found Butter + Beans located in the compound of Happy Mansion in Seksyen 17, Petaling Jaya. It’s a small but cozy café, accommodating up to 20 pax, inside out. There is no fancy structure nor deco in this café, but it exudes a homely, comforting ambience. As we entered the café, we were immediately welcomed by friendly greetings from the baristas.

The striking pink LED with the quote “life’s a piknik” installed outside P*K NIK was undoubtedly an attention pull. We then fell in love with the potted plants and climbing leaves placed outside the café. As we glanced around, we really appreciated this corner of greeneries – it’s an oasis along a vintage, colonial-inherited corridor.
