I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend. I hope you all got to spend time with your families and enjoy good food and I hope you were able to make fun memories to last you a life time.
As the weekend slowly comes to an end, I want to pause and remember the true reason of this long weekend. That is to remember and honor the fallen service members of our country.
I am truly grateful for the men and women who fight for our freedoms. To make our country safe so that we can do the things we love and be around the people we care most about.
To the families who have lost their loved ones my heart goes out to all of you.
Dear Heavenly Father I pray for ever family of a fallen service member. I ask God that you would grant them peace and cover them during their time of grief. I pray for the spouses who have lost their significant others, their best friends. I pray for the children who will never see or meet their mom or dad. I pray for the parents who have had to bury their children. I pray for the service member who made it back home when their brother or sister in arms did not. I ask Lord that you would wrap them in your loving arms and that you would restore their souls. In Jesus mighty name amen.
