The hard drive in my XBOX has stopped working, so I decided to put an SSD Drive in (to prevent further failures). Problem now is that I can't burn the DVD to flash the BIOS etc because my (really) old laptop won't boot, so I have to wait for the external drive to come tomorrow
It won't even boot, but the logo for the modchip still displays, so at least that seems promising! -Glenn

So, I'm legitimately kinda blown-away at the output/features on the Stealth 600 Gen 3 headphones from Turtle Beach. For $100 especially, I'm loving the options for tweaking them, and the audio is seriously very close to headphones that are $200/$300+. The biggest difference for me honestly is that the battery isn't replaceable, and doesn't include an extra and a "dock" to charge one. The audio has fantastic clarity with great bass response, and 3D Audio is output very, very well.
Awesome first impressions!
Now I need to test them on the Switch via Bluetooth, and I need to test if I can do a call via Bluetooth while playing a game (since they have 2 "modes", Wireless and Bluetooth)
Also, they're extremely comfortable, and you gotta love the design specifically for those that wear glasses.

So, my original XBOX is hard-modded (which is why I bought it used) and the mod was pretty badass back then, especially loading the games to a larger hard drive that I'd installed.
A few months ago, I decided to hook it up so I could play Steel Battalion.
But, I quickly realized that the hard drive had failed.
I thought that that was that, but I started looking around to see if I could install an ole SATA SSD drive, and it sounds like that works.
Info is really hard to find on this, but I really got a bug up my ass about this since I wouldn't mind a new project, and the mod chip is still working.
So, I ordered a 128MB SSD drive, an IDE to SATA adapter, and from Etsy, I found a drive mount that fits into an XBOX. All for less than $50. All for Steel Battalion 🤣 -Glenn

Now that it allows play with a Bluetooth controller, I've been trying . It captures the feel of its big brother pretty well, especially since it's using maps from past iterations. It plays really well on my Pixel Tablet with a DualShock 4 too. -Glenn

Played a chapter of today (on Series X). It's like a motion comic, with choices to make pretty frequently. Voice work is really good, and the story is well written so far. It won a for "Most Emotional / Narrative Game" too -Glenn
