Host Hotel: Hilton Downtown Baltimore 2020 BALTIMORE JAZZ FESTIVAL LINE UP: Mohorns John Lamkin "Favorites" Quintet (More to be announced) When it comes to the essential part of entertainment history, people will often mention New York, New Orleans, Los Angeles, But forget that Baltimore has contributed to the musical landscape, especially in the terms of JAZZ with Legends! - James Hubert Blake (February 7, 1887– February 12, 1983), - Eleanora Fagan AKA Billie Holiday (April 7, 1915 – July 17, 1959), - Cabell Calloway III (December 25, 1907 – November 18, 1994), - William Henry "Chick" Webb (February 10, 1905– June 16, 1939). Yet the jazz community continues to thrive with the likes of John Lamkin, Kevin Jackson, Isaac Parham and Craig Alston. The Baltimore Jazz Festival looks to continue with the tradition. We will be showing off the best Charm City has to offer with live music, crabs and laughter.
